“Well I’m sorry - I should really work my schedule around yours. When’s your next available date for brain toxin implantation? I want to make sure our schedules match up” C- joked, a stream of laughter leaving her lips before adding “God you really need to go into acting, V, you’re too damn good at it.” It was true; the girl had her talents despite never really putting her effort into one specific thing throughout highschool. Val was always too busy… doing…well whatever the hell she wanted. It was ironically something Candice always respected. While Val was being 100% percent her; Candice had to hide who she was. Well around everyone but Valerie. And throughout the years; Candice also learned there was more to Val than what she showed everyone.
As Val explained that it was “complicated” between her and Jess; Candice nodded along. She didn’t know Jess as well as other students at C High had before the girl up and disappeared. Though she had known that Val and her were close and how broken-hearted Val was when she had disappeared. Though the details had always been fuzzy; Candice respected Val’s privacy.
“Sneaking down the fire escape is a favorite past time of mine, almost as close as not getting hounded by paparazzi trying to figure out if your death-escapade was just a publicity stunt or not,” she laughed. “And your choice - I’m not a fan of her either but her party-throwing skills are amazing,” C added, leaning against the table. “Well alright then, miss party planner, where are we headed? Though I would love a video of you assaulting the devil,” C added with a grin. “So where are we headed? Liquor store? Party city? You know I would love to see a party with sex toys as swag bags,” the girl joked.
