"Okay okay realest fan out there, fanfics and stealing shows and everything”
“Thank you for finally acknowledging my fan-ness of you, love. I would call myself your number one fan but there’s that Patricia girl that shows up at every one of your concerts and always buys that meet and greet session so I don’t exactly feel right stealing that title. But I’ll call myself your number 2 fan,” Jess continued in a joking tone. Though their conversation had a nonchalant vibe to it; there was something hidden in his words about being a father. Perhaps someone else wouldn’t have caught it - but Jess knew despite the joke there was a hidden worry there. “Hey…” she grinned, cupping his cheek. “You’re going to be the best damn father out there,” he whispered with no hesitancy in her voice as she said the words. It was because she 110% believed it. She knew Andy; she had grown up with the man and the one thing he knew was he had the biggest damn heart. Anyone like that was going to be a great parent no matter what paparazzi or idiotic cousin thought.
“Oh shut up,” Jess continued moving back to their antiques as he explained that he wasn’t a bottom. “Bottom can be fun… I mean I would never. But all the research I’ve done on you and all those many… many… many stories of you being dominated beg to differ with that statement,” Jess laughed, “and fine. Dishonor on my cow it is; though don’t blame me if that cow is currently in the form of a hamburger sitting in my stomach”.
Was she being brutally honest with her next statement about Oliver? Without a damn doubt. But what could she say? It was the hunger games out here with the prize being Andy’s best man and Jess wasn’t willing to lose that so easily. “You better not; because then it’s dishonor on your cow, not mine,” Jess added - poking fun at him. “Though - how are you feeling Mr. Soon to be a married man?” Jessica added; turning the conversation into more serious matters. The two of them could talk about everything and anything though since she was hospitalized it had been a while since the two sat down and just… talked.
