Ketziah Drake
Ketziah was on Jordan’s side entirely with the whole issue, but someone still had to look at it from Jezebel’s point of view too. When you don’t know the full story, you end up filling in the blanks with your own assumptions. Not everyone makes the best choices, and some just go so far as to dig themselves into a hole they don’t know how to get out of. Ketziah just knew enough to know those blanks could be filled in any number of ways, not all of which could be the truth, and she’d rather be left with the questions than to make the wrong assumptions on something like this. Ketziah shrugged slightly before holding Jordan close when he hugged her. “I didn’t want you to worry about me, and then I didn’t know how to tell you without hurting you by not telling you sooner like I should have. I’m fine, given everything, but I still feel terrible about waiting so long to tell you.” After Jordan pulled away, she nodded listening to Jordan. “That’s something I can’t tell you what to do on… Just ask yourself if you’ll really be able to move on if you don’t face her… if you don’t tell her how you feel, and let her tell you why, so you won’t have to wonder.” Whether it was now, or one day years down the line, there would come a time where he would wonder why, if he didn’t talk to her. If he thought it would help him, but he couldn’t bring himself to be around her, Ketziah was willing to talk to her for him. She would say anything to Jezebel that Jordan wanted her to hear, and then tell Jordan what Jezebel said. Whatever Jordan needed to ease that pain, Ketziah would do what she could to make it happen. “Nothing ever stays the same forever… no matter how much we want it to.”
