Jezebel had little interest over who she was matched with for Oh My Dollar Valentine, so she had filled out her own survey extremely last minute. She had no reason to be interested when she already had a date planned. Though, it was a surprise when she finally saw who was listed as her matches. The first person on her list was Calen Hunter. Not necessarily that they were on bad terms or anything, she just didn’t like him very well. However, the second name was one that she had hoped would be on there, Mikel. Jezebel walked down the hall, entirely decorated in reds and pinks, even matching the festive colors by wearing red herself. Though, the most notable part of her appearance that day, was the haircut she had gotten the day before paired with the loss of the blonde color she had been sporting the past couple of years. She had dyed it back to brown, within a shade or so of her natural hair color. Jez smiled when she saw a message from Mikel.

She sent, just before her phone began to ring. Of all the people it could have been, it was Daniel. She hadn’t expected him to call her in any way, so she quickly stepped somewhere less in the open and answered the phone. A small part of her felt hope that Daniel could have actually called her, but as soon as she heard him, she knew that wasn’t the case. Daniel didn’t call her Jess, there were a million other nicknames he used but not Jess instead of Jez, and it wouldn’t be the first time that something like that had ever happened with calling the wrong person. Despite knowing it wasn’t meant for her, it hurt knowing that technically they were family. Part of her wanted to let him think that he had called the correct number, but he would know as soon as she spoke anyway. “It’s Jez, Daniel… ” She knew he’d probably hang up right away, but she did miss him, and hoped he’d let her start talking to him again. “You don’t have to keep me blocked everywhere…”
