With his eyes closed, Jordan simply focused on taking deep breaths - attempting to clear his mind as the crisp air met his lungs. The wind had started picking up and it was clear by the dark clouds that a storm was raging… and perhaps that was almost synonymous to how Jordan Williams felt inside. Though there was nothing he could do about it now.

When Jordan Williams had left two years ago, agreeing with Jezebel Sloane that breaking up was the best option as he’d be on the road for years… he knew there was always a possibility she would fall in love again. Even coming back now, he knew it could happen, he wasn’t an idiot, he’d seen the photos on social media of her and another guy… though perhaps it was just a glimmer of hope he had when coming… when he finally could come back for her. False hope he should say - though Jordan had always been one to be overly optimistic, even when things seemed the bleakest.

“Jordan?”

And now he was hearing her voice. Great… Though opening his eyes ever so slightly he found that he wasn’t just imagining things - but instead, the girl he always had on his mind was standing right in front of him, even more beautiful then they day he had met her in the 6th grade and crushed until he finally had the guts to ask her out in the 8th. If it could, Jordan would have promised his heart skipped a beat. No.. it completely stopped beating. “Hey Tinkerbell,” Jordan whispered, a slight smile on his features as he looked at her like it was the first time he had seen her in years… though in retrospect, it was.

“I… I didn’t get to tell you before but you look absolutely stunning tonight,” Jordan continued, relaxing his posture as he once again hid his emotions - though, Jezebel always did have the power to read him better than anyone else. “I guess… congratulations are in order? After all… Mikel was really gushing in there… though I can’t blame him.”

The last time she had seen Jordan, actually face to face, was one of the worst days she could remember. They both agreed that breaking up was the best decision, but it broke her heart to say goodbye to him that day. A small part of her even wondered ever so often, what if. What if things had gone differently, if they hadn’t broken up. She looked at him almost in disbelief that he was actually there, standing right in front of her. She smiled, and as he spoke, part of her wanted to just grab ahold of him and never let go again, to just let him hold her and say everything would be alright. No matter how much their breakup hurt, the feelings she had for Jordan never disappeared. That was part of why she had barely talked to him since they broke up. The feelings and memories she had made it hurt that much worse even just thinking about him. “I thought you were going to stop calling me Tinkerbell?” She really didn’t want him to stop calling her Tinkerbell, even if she was back to her natural brown hair. Jezebel smiled wide when he said she looked stunning, but then when Jordan mentioned Mikel her smile faltered slightly. “I… I haven’t actually agreed to what he said back there… I needed to think about some stuff.”

Jordan watched his Tinkerbell as her mind ran a million miles an hour. Just like Jezebel Sloane used to know everything that was going through his own mind, Jordan had learned the subtle art of Jezebel Sloane. What he had learned: She was a brave, beautiful, strong person - despite what anyone thought. Jordan couldn’t help but wonder what was going that mind of hers as she watched him… saying nothing for a moment. Though the smile that soon befell her lips made the butterflies in his stomach flutter once again. D<mn it… Correction. She wasn’t his Tink anymore. That would be hard to get used to… especially since as he looked at her, the only thing running through his mind was the good memories he had of them together. The smiles, the laughter, the ‘I love you’s’.

“I thought you were going to stop calling me TInkerbell?”

A coy smile came on his lips as his eyes became soft - the look he had when he first realized he had fallen for Jezebel Sloane… though he had fallen for Jez even before Jez knew who he was. “I’m never going to stop calling you Tink. We both know I didn’t call you Tink because you looked like her, but it wasssssss a small factor. I started calling you Tinkerbell because you would do anything for the people you love… though” Jordan started, his smile growing larger, “You could also cause a few big messes sometimes,” he smiled - laughing ever so slightly.

Though his smile fell with her next words. “I… I haven’t actually agreed to what he said back there… I needed to think about some stuff.” “I-” Jordan started, scratching the back of his head as he looked at her. When he said his heart was racing before… it was doing so harder now. “God I’m about to make a complete fool of myself,” Jordan said as he walked towards her so he was right in front of her. “I shouldn’t say this… you probably have so much to think about without me adding to your plate. But… If you’re still thinking about it I need to tell you. Jezebel Sloane… I haven’t stopped thinking about you since the moment I left two years ago. But… but if you want nothing to do with me, I’ll leave tonight no questions. But if you feel anything… even an inkling of anything… please tell me” Jordan said, his voice strained as he looked into her eyes.

Valerie enjoyed the small moment they had in that little nonexistent bubble, it was definitely a memorable night, in the best way,
But bubbles were made to be pooped, and next thing she noticed was CC standing there looking at them
"I’m… uh. I’m sorry… I didn’t mean to bother… um… you two. I was just… Right… I was just saying hi… have a great night you two,”
”C-“ she called but the girl already fled off. Valerie knee her well enough to see there was something on her mind. She sighed, and bit her lip turning back to Dom “I should probably go after her-“ she said and ran a hand through her hair before giving him a light smile and turning away to follow her friend.

Walking around the venue, she looked around looking for Candice, and when at some point she spotted her she went over to her.
”C-“ she called over to her as she went to her and tilted her head with furrowed brows and questioning look in on her face ”What is it?” she asked, since there was obviously something bothering her

“Ah, I wish my soul was dark, but i’m just to full of love.” Mare laughed and nodded. “Gotcha, should be fun then.” She responded. She needed a party, just to help me uplift her ‘spirits’. She couldn’t think of a better way to describe it. Thankfully, Mikel was throwing it. Just a little escape. She looked over near the lemonade, if you could even call it that. “Eek, that’s disgusting. I think i’m good with the punch for now. And I am not surprised about no one touching it. Good for them.” Mareena drank some more of her punch, almost done with it. She has like a fourth left. “Yeah, It’s crazy to think anything about the future too. Liek we are gonna be on our separate live and might not even be friends with the some we are today.”

“Good,” she repeated after him as he took her hand and brought her to the dance floor. Who would’ve thought her first dance, first slow dance at prom would be with Malachi? Her ex that didn’t even go to the same school until now, someone she met on a vacation and it was just that… a sweet summer vacation romance. At first, she awkwardly placed her hands on his shoulders, thinking that everyone was looking at them and would be asking her a lot of questions after. But knowing she could trust him, knowing he would never tell a thing, she quickly relaxed, gently moving her hands behind his neck and intertwining her fingers.
“If I asked you the same thing now…” She quietly spoke up, looking up at his eyes. “Would you do it?” He knew exactly what she meant so there was no need to say anything else, especially now with so many people around them. It was the same thing she was worried about people finding out and because of that, she didn’t want to do it again. At least not in that way. “I don’t want to, I’m just curious…” She quickly added, putting on a sweet smile and for a second looked down at their floor. “It was fun, wasn’t it? You have to admit that.” With a short giggle, she looked back at him.

“Ah, I wish my soul was dark, but i’m just to full of love.”
”I’m both, go figure” he snorted a laugh. As much of a troublemaker that he was, he did have a big heart for people that managed to make their way into it. ”Makes no sense”
“Gotcha, should be fun then.”
”Definitely” he said ”Nobody in this school is better than Mikey at throwing parties”
“Eek, that’s disgusting. I think i’m good with the punch for now. And I am not surprised about no one touching it. Good for them.”
”It looks poisoned” he said with a light ew face
“Yeah, It’s crazy to think anything about the future too. Liek we are gonna be on our separate live and might not even be friends with the some we are today.”
”Depends who” he said ”if the friendships are strong enough they might last” he added with a light shrug ”unless something comes and fcuks them up”, he sipped his drink, totally not thinking about Jessica and Daniel while saying that.

Entering the venue with Sadie by his side, his gaze wandered around in hopes to find a victim for his tasks. It wasn’t hard to do what he was supposed to do, there were endless possibilities, some that might even bring him joy but it was too early for that. Right now he just had to figure out how to do everything, after he enjoys his time here, because he wants that and not because of his tasks. Those would just be additional points on top of the ones he would gain by winning - prom king and best dressed couple. He was aware of his chances but that was what he was hoping for, what he desperately wanted.

A confessing tree caught his attention. There wasn’t anything he could write about now nor did he want to ruin his already stained image, but he wondered what kind of things they might find out tonight. Things that would make him look better and make everyone else forget about his secrets. “I’ll be right back, don’t find someone else to dance with,” jokingly saying it with a cheeky smile on, he gently let go of Sadie’s hand and walked towards the drinks. He was never a huge fan of drinking, he was even against it but wherever he goes he always gets one drink - it could never hurt anyone. That’s what he did now, with a cup in his hand that wasn’t fully filled, he caught himself looking around, hoping to spot Aline. He wanted to see who she would come with after he gave her false hope, without any intention to hurt her. But that was probably the only thing he ended up doing. Instead, he noticed France, standing alone in the middle of the crowd.

“Bonsoir, France.” With slow steps and a smug look on his face, he walked up to her, looking her up and down. “You look lovely. Blue to match the colour of the country you’re coming from, creative.” Saying that second part as a joke, he met her eyes for a second before taking a sip of his drink and glancing around them. People were having fun or simply chatting with their friends or dates - no one looked like a potential person France could’ve came with. He he couldn’t believe she would be here alone. “Don’t tell me you came alone?” He curiously added, slightly tilting his head as he shifted his gaze back to her, playing with the cup in his hand.

“Much obliged. I too, think I’m hilarious.” Daniel said, smiling. Ruby smiled back, taking another sip of her drink. Ruby smiled when he said she was doing good at socializing. “Thanks. Yeah, we’re the…black sheep, here, I guess. Nothing wrong with that, although some would beg to differ. I’m not liked by many people because I’m…a time bomb. I don’t know what’s wrong with me. Surprisingly, I’m doing fine now.” Ruby said, taking another drink. “This punch is spiked.” She deadpanned. “Yeah, he’s definitely being stupid. Why are you screaming that to the whole room? I mean…I smoke, so…drugs. I’ve done worse, bit mainly just cigarettes.”

Jezebel couldn’t hide her smile, even if she tried as she listened to Jordan saying why he called her Tinkerbell. “I would do anything, and I do.” Jezebel said with a small laugh knowing that she had a tendency to cause big messes, or normally be the mess. Jezebel watched, unsure what to think, as he walked over to her. Her mind was already racing with the thoughts of everything going on, but also all the memories she had with Jordan, so everything he said made her mind race that much more. She looked at him wide eyed as he spoke. She had no idea what to think, let alone what to feel. She had thought that he would have moved on, but she could never say that she had moved on even if she had tried. She was able to live without him there, without talking to him, but she never really moved on. Jezebel smiled at Jordan, though she was nervous. Exactly what she had wanted since the day they broke up, until she was with Mikel, was standing just in front of her. “I never really stopped thinking about you either Jordan, and I don’t want you to go.” What was she thinking, Mikel was inside. She had feelings for Mikel, but there was Jordan standing right in front of her. The Jordan she was hopelessly in love with at a point that felt like so long ago, yet like merely yesterday at the same time. Jordan could never be just her friend, he would always be someone she loved, but she was still figuring things out with Mikel. He was new, and she was extremely happy when she was with him, but at that moment all that was on Jezebel’s mind was Jordan. For probably the first time that night, she wasn’t overthinking and was just in the moment, so she took a step to close the distance, and kissed Jordan.

All her confidence had washed away in an instant as Candice briskly walked away from the two - attempting to gather her thoughts which were, to say the very least, all over the place. Valerie and Dominic. Dominic and Valerie. It wasn’t the fact that Val was here with Dominic - Candice could care less about that. Well… at least not exactly the reason that CC was frustrated. Dominic hadn’t been a big part of Candice’s life in years… not since the moment she…no… it wasn’t even worth thinking about. It wouldn’t matter anyways - no one could change the past.

Looking around the room, Candice retreated towards the bathroom - entering the surprisingly empty room which she was thankful for. Standing in front of the mirror, Candice looked at herself. “What are you doing?” She mumbled though instantly composed herself when another girl entered the bathroom.

“What is it?”

Candice heard the voice of her best friend, not even having look back to see that it was indeed Val who entered the room. CC hated what she had to do next - the one thing she promised never to do. Not to Valerie Wood. Candice lied. “I don’t know what you’re talking about girly,” Candice laughed in a fake voice that Val could likely obviously see right through. Attempting to keep her hands busy, Candice took her lipgloss out of her purse and begin applying it. CC simply couldn’t look her friend in the eyes as she lied out of her teeth. “I just wanted to drop by and say hi. You should go back to your date… Dom will be waiting,”

He nodded at the ‘black sheep’ sentiment - putting the cup down as Daniel watched from a far what happened, though still listening to Ruby talk as he did so. Daniel had, indeed, always been good at multitasking. As the girl talked about being a ‘time bomb,’ Daniel Parker witnessed a whole different time bomb exploding on the dance floor. Jordan leaving the stage, soon followed by Jezebel rushing off after talking to Mikel. “Interesting,” Daniel mumbled, before turning back towards Ruby - subconsciously noting down what happened.

“You’re doing great.” Daniel smiled, “So why are you called a time bomb? I’ve personally been called many things, but a ticking time bomb has ironically not been one of them… usually, because people know exactly when I’m going to make my move.” Daniel responded, moving his head back towards the room - watching Mav attempting to talk to Brandon and Selena - hopefully, he could get his favor done or little Macy would be getting an uncomfortable call from the police to set a court date. And then, Daniel moved his head towards Elodie and the new kid, Kai, though the two dancing brought a frown to his face. Though Daniel couldn’t say anything - he didn’t know Kai but the man better know Daniel would bring hell down if he hurt Elodie.

“This punch is spiked”

“Yes… with some disgusting low content alcohol. I was really hoping for something with some more oomph but, I guess if you want to do something right, you have to do it yourself,” Daniel smiled. “Unless you don’t drink - which in that case, you should probably stop drinking because that sh*t hits a little later… though, you do seem like you’d be a fun drunk.” Daniel smiled.

Ruby shook her head. “I shouldn’t tell you. Oh. She was crying. Why? She was so confused. She couldn’t control anything, and she wanted it to stop. She downed the rest of her cup, feeling the buzz of the cheep alcohol.

Following the girl she found herself in the venue bathroom, standing by the door as CC was standing in front of the mirror.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about girly,”
Valerie knee her well enough to know that was a blunt lie, she could see right through that and the fact that Candice had just lies to her means it was probably a bigger problem than she thought.
“I just wanted to drop by and say hi. You should go back to your date… Dom will be waiting,”
”And you expect me to believe that?” she raised a brow at her best friend who was looking at herself in the mirror ”I know you well enough to know you’re bullish!tting me right now” she added ”what is it?” she asked again, repeating the same question she asked when she first entered the bathroom.

It wasn’t the first time Jordan had felt completely vulnerable in front of someone, let alone that person being Jezebel Sloane. Rather, Jordan Williams had likely shown Jezebel every single part of himself. Both the good parts and the bad. He had always been 100% himself around her. But perhaps that’s what made him fall in love with her in the first place. She never judged him for any of that. There was a time that both Jezebel and Jordan were lost, but they found themselves in each other. So now, as he stood in front of her again - two years since the last time he held her in his arms… since the last time he kissed her - he could only hope of the words that would come out of her lips next.

“I never really stopped thinking about you either Jordan, and I don’t want you to go”

If it was possible, Jordan’s smile grew larger as he leaned his head against her own, his eyes closed as he whispered “I’ve missed you Tink” Though, as he opened his eyes again, meeting her own once more, Jordan soon found her lips on his. With zero hesitation, Jordan moved against her lips, kissing her back passionaltly as his hand found it’s place in her hair and his other pulling her body closer against his own if that was even possible. It was almost as if the two had transported back to the first morment they had kissed, the same spark he felt the first day with her still clearly present. All Jordan Williams knew was that he was intoxicated by Jezebel Sloane’s touch and he never wanted it to end. If only time could stop in this moment.

@Littlefeets - I’m either expecting Jezebel to pull away, Mikel to come outside, OR Jordan’s band mates coming outside to find him and finding that. Any preference?

“I shouldn’t tell you. You’d probably tell the whole school, and I can’t risk that…”

And for the first time during their conversation, Daniel Parker found himself growing bored of Ruby. With that one statement, he knew she was no different than the rest. Fearful. Which he understood - after all, he could do all of what she had just said without even blinking. The problem? Why would he? Daniel only retaliated against those who retaliated against him first. Either that or not paying back on a favor if Daniel did the individual a favor first. Perhaps there was a small part of Daniel that thought Ruby was different… after all this conversation wasn’t as half as bad as the ones he usually had to deal with.

Though, before Daniel could say something along the lines of have fun and make his leave - the girl was… was she crying? Why the heck was she crying. He quite literally hadn’t said anything. Unless of course, she had a lower tolerance for the alcohol than he thought. The one thing Daniel wasn’t good with was crying girls. “I…” Daniel started, looking around the room. Usually, Jezebel dealt with this type of stuff. “There there?” Daniel mumbled, carefully patting her on the back awkwardly. “Um… can I do something? Refill your cup or…?”

Ruby slowly inhaled, blinking furiously. “I-I’m sorry. I can usually keep myself under control. I’m sorry for making you feel awkward. My…emotions are…erratic. I’m just afraid people will find out. I’ve been told to be wary of you, and…I assumed things.” Ruby gently removed his hands from her shoulders, wiping her eyes. “That won’t happen again. Hopefully.” She sighed. “You think I’m nuts, huh. ”Not sure about the sound of that.” He grinned, chuckling. “Why, I think it’s a great idea, don’t you?” He teased, his lips pulling into a smirk. It would definitely be a fun little bit if Gio just started agreeing with everything he said—he would definitely take advantage of that.

”Because you won’t. Simple.” He raised his brow, matching Gio’s smirk with one of his own. “Wanna bet?” He replied, a competitive glint glowing in his eyes. “I am eighteen now, can do all sorts of adulting like that.” The thought of going through all that paperwork and effort to change a middle name, of all things, seemed pretty dumb but he would definitely do it to prove Gio wrong. Also, it would be a good story for the grandkids.

”Exactly. Remind me why the hell are we still in high school?” He shrugged, shaking his head as if he couldn’t possibly understand why the two of them were still in any form of education. “You tell me, I sure as hell don’t know,” he said, chuckling. Gio moved to the punch bowl, pouring himself and Lui a cup. He returned with two cups, passing one to Luciano, who took it with a smile. “Thanks G.” He took a sip of the punch, thinking that he could taste some buzz to the juice. It wasn’t that surprising, of course, someone was going to spike the punch. He didn’t mind though, he liked the feeling of alcohol when it was just a buzz, not the feeling of complete drunkenness.

”It’s a date. Bow tie shopping it is.” He grinned, stepping closer to him. “Yay, another reason to go on a date with you,” he murmured with a small smile.

”The funny ones are amazing, definitely." Luciano’s lips quirked in a smile, nodding in agreement. He couldn’t wait until he had stories of his own to tell. "It’s weird to think senior year is more than halfway through.” He nodded, his eyes flicking around the venue they were in. “It is so weird. Felt like it was only yesterday that I even started high school. And then soon we’ll all be graduating, beginning the rest of our lives.” He paused, taking another swig of the drink. “Hella weird.”

Candice’s eyes fluttered closed for a second as she took a deep breath, taking her mascara out so she had something else to do… needing to keep busy so it made it seem like CC was indifferent about the incident. The one thing Candice knew - she couldn’t tell the girl what she had originally set out to tell her. It was far too late. The only thing she could do and make sure that Valerie believed her, was to make it seem like she was upset about something else. So that was exactly what she did.

“What is it?”

Turning to face her friend for the first time since she walked in, Candice frowned. She was going to hate every moment of what she said next. “It’s nothing Valerie. I was just shocked that you went to prom with Dominic. Really? Dom - of all the people you could have gone with, you chose my ex-boyfriend?” Candice questioned, attempting to make it seem as if that was the issue the whole time. It was better than the truth. “Valerie, I love you but really? Him?”

Daniel gulped as tears continued to stream down the girl’s eyes. Was it getting hot in here? His suit felt tighter than it did before. God this empathy thing was hard - all Daniel Parker could do was stand awkwardly as he continued to pat her back. He’d read in the New England Journal that physical contact helped with emotional issues… was it working? Was it doing anything? Was there supposed to be a sign it was working? The New England Journal never said what kind of human contact was supposed to help. Was he supposed to poke her? Hug her? Kiss her? What the actual f*ck was he supposed to do right now. WHERE THE HELL WAS JEZEBEL WHEN YOU NEEDED HER? Oh wait. He couldn’t rely on Jezebel anymore. Sh!t. Aline? Elodie? Jessica? No not Jessica. She’d be like him. WHERE WAS EVERYONE?

“I-I’m sorry. I can usually keep myself under control. I’m sorry for making you feel awkward. My…emotions are…erratic. I’m just afraid people will find out. I’ve been told to be wary of you, and…I assumed things.”

Daniel stood frozen, still unsure of how to respond. “You,” Daniel pointed at a senior standing with his date - an unopened water bottle in his hand. “I suggest you hand that over,” Daniel said and almost immediately the man did as he was told and he handed the girl the water. “Hey… I won’t… do anything. Don’t worry. I’m an as$hole but I’m not that big of an as$hole,” Daniel muttered, scratching his head as he uncomfortably shifted his feet.

“That won’t happen again. Hopefully.” She sighed. “You think I’m nuts, huh.”

“No more nuts than the rest of this school,” Daniel responded, “And most people would probably say you’re way less nuts than me,” he continued, sending her a soft smile. Laughter… that aways worked right? God please let something work because Daniel did not know what to do. The last time he saw a girl cry was Jezebel Sloane and he ended up taking her to italy for food since she was craving Italian. But this… a girl he barely knew crying in front of him… this was new even for Daniel Parker.
