“Yeah, well I know she loves you too. Obviously, impossible not to. It’s just so cool to see you two together.”
”It’s cool on my side too” he chuckled ”She’s great” he said again
“I guess I should start getting to my class now, so I’ll see you?”
”Yeah sure, I wouldn’t want you to be late for class” he said in response, looking around the hall for a second before looking back at Lui ”I’ll see you later then…” he said with a light smile and rested against the locker as the boy walked away

“If you say soooo… And a simple please Elodie, I need you there would be better than kidnapping,” laughing lightly, she placed her hand over her heart like he did before. “You’d really put me through that? That’s mean,” keeping her hand still on her chest, she slightly pouted. “Lucky me, going willingly.”

”And it’s April, so that’s a bit unfortunate but oh well”
“Woah, it’s already April… Time goes by so fast.” She slightly rose her brows, whispering to herself. It was weird to think they only had just a few months left and the hardest part was right around the corner - all the finals and graduation. “And what’s wrong with April, huh? It’s the best month ever,” but shaking those thoughts, she gently nudged his leg with hers, chuckling. “And I’m not saying that because my birthday is in a few days,” jokingly rolling her eyes, she emphasized the word birthday, trying to point it out. “What an unfortunate time to come back.”

”I hope.”
She nodded right away, agreeing with him. Luckily nothing happened at prom even with all the tasks they had to do if they wanted to achieve something, but this was just another event where things could go downhill. Things have also been quiet for some time, especially after Candice died but that didn’t mean the school year would end that way. “Since it’s your first big event this year, I’m going to make sure it is perfect. I’m just that good of a friend,” jokingly saying with a cheeky smile, she stepped right next to him and leaned against the lockers, the same way he did, watching other students walking by. “So, what do you want to happen? No, what do you want me to stop from happening? I think that’s easier?” Continuing with the joke, she looked back at him with a slight smirk now.

“I must say, you’re good at this.”
”A compliment from France Auclair? Did you check your temperature this morning?” he raised his brow in surprise, still coming to the girl with a sarcastic attitude.
“Oh no, I don’t want anything from you. I’m not here for any particular reason. Is it really bad to greet and welcome someone back to school? Wait, you’re back to school? This is surprising. I thought you would rather enjoy yourself in a pool of women in bikinis.”
”You keep assuming I’m a womanizer, when I’m actually probably more relationship material than you’ll ever be” he said shaking his head ”And to your question yeah I’m back at school, couldn’t let you have too much fun without me here to bum your mood” he smirked, ”Sorry not sorry”

“Damn you guys are some indecisive mf,”
”That’s what we have you for” she said with a chuckle at Dan’s comment on them being indecisive ”But surprises are always welcome” she added as the elevator started going down, hopefully this one wouldn’t get stuck, that story already happened, time for some new ones.

“What do you two think about ‘Valankel Island’ - thinking that might be the name of the island with buy in the Bahamas after winning a few million.”
”Mikanerie” she said after a moment of thought ”An island sounds like a fantastic plan, I like” she smirked and rested her back against the elevator wall, ”Vanikel? Vanikel. Yes” she said after a while, after suddenly coming up with that name which she thought was a lot better than what she said before. ”Sounds like a volcano” she chuckled

As they were lead and sat in the VIP booth, Daniel started ordering drinks, getting himself a scotch and guessing what the two would like “She’ll have a pina colada, extra rum, and he’ll take a long island ice tea,”
”The extra rum was definitely true, pina colada though? Not today satan, not today. A Jean Harlow please, extra rum” she said with a smirk and leaned in her seat running a hand through her hair
“I’m guessing you’re going to disappear to go grind on a random guy after you take a few shots?”
”Am I?” she raised a brow at his statement ”Only if I don’t find anything more interesting to do” she said and looked around

Marie stood up, grabbing her bag and heading to her first class. When she entered, she sat down and decided to talk to the person sitting next to her, Zion Pestana. She was fully aware Zion was non binary, but that didn’t stop her from having a crush on them, quite the opposite. Marie turned towards them and smiled. “Hey Zion. How are you?” She greeted.

”Since it’s your first big event this year, I’m going to make sure it is perfect. I’m just that good of a friend. So, what do you want to happen? No, what do you want me to stop from happening? I think that’s easier?”

“Excuse me, there is no nice kind of kidnapping. And you saying that the trip could never be good without me doesn’t make it better,” quietly adding as a joke, she looked to the side with a slight pout. Or actually tried to cover the shy smile that was appearing on her lips as he said that. She never knew what to do if someone said something like that to her, especially someone she likes… or liked. And luckily Theo was great at being sweet to her. “Or maybe it does,” she quickly added, looking back at him with a smile but just as fast she changed the topic of their conversation. But she should’ve known things wouldn’t really be that simple.

Talking about her birthday and then the trip, it was hard to act like she wasn’t feeling overwhelmed… in a good way. “Oh come on, I’m not that amazing,” she chuckled, raising her brow and keeping her gaze on him for a while. Maybe too long as she could feel her face softening into a sweet smile, focusing just on him and ignoring everything around them. “Uhm… Well, simple man,” straightening up almost nervously, she pushed herself off the lockers to take a step away from him. “Then my job is successfully done here, it will be good,” she joked once again, smiling proudly. “Anyway… what’s your first class?”

He stood there waiting for a response. No doubtably her trying to conjure up an excuse… or reason for both of the topics brought up. The girl damn neared fell of the face of the earth and the first time he sees her she was moaning in the bathroom. Yet it ‘Isn’t what it seems like.’ He rolled his eyes out of exhaustion. “Not like I have heard that excuse too many times before.” Then adding,”Wait- hiding? I think this was the most hilarious thing I have ever heard. You were having pretend sex by your self?” He laughed. Yeah, nevermind. That’s one he never heard. “Wow, was it at least good?” He teased her. Ah, he will never forget this.

Now time to get to the second topic at hand. Of course she tries to skip over it. “Na uh, not happening. Dont try to fly past that now. As much as Id love to act like you didn’t disappear for you know how long and be good ol’ friends, but people say I am straight forward.” He raised his brow at her. “So care to explain please?” Elias suggested waving his finger at her. “But my brows are always fantastic. Thanks for noticing though.” He smirked and continued,”Dont ask me, I don’t know. I’m sure good though.” He shrugged before looking back at her. He had actually really missed her. She was another good friend of his… a good friend of his that ghosted everyone, nevertheless still a good friend. At least he hopes so. She might think they’re strangers now. Which she wouldn’t be wrong. Gah, how much he wished things were normal. It’s odd to se someone he is or was good friends with to be now almost just a stranger to him.

@benitz786 - I really like the movie idea.

The initial reaction in his features as she told the man she was, without a doubt, not having sex in the men’s bathroom was one filled with just that - doubt. But could she blame him? He had just walked by a bathroom she was screaming bloody pleasure in. But hey - at least she avoided Theo. His skepticism was soon confirmed with the words of him having heard that excuse before. “Wow no confidence in me what so ever huh?” Jess questioned, raising her eyebrows - crossing her arms across her chest as she looked at him. “Weren’t you the one that was caught having sex under the bleachers DURING a game when I was here,” Jess asked with a slight laugh playing upon her voice. “Yes hiding. By myself? Surprisingly no. I ran into someone in there and told him to sit pretty in the corner while I put on a show. Who knew I would run into a man in the men’s bathroom? Shocking,” Jess added. “And to answer your question of if it was good, I mean, you heard me. That was grade A moaning meaning the fake sex must have been mindblowing,” she added, nudging him slightly.

This was the one benefit of seeing people she hadn’t seen in years. It was so easy to talk to people that were her friends. Well… everyone except Dorian DeLoughrey. That man was just in a special column of hating her guts. But this - The conversation simply flowed - the two of them moving back to their old cheeky commentary they had when they were middle schoolers. “Don’t give me that look Stokes. Tell me you wouldn’t pretend to have sex in the woman’s bathroom if there was someone you were reallllllly trying to avoid,” She added with a mischievous grin. “Okay fine - maybe it’s just me, but hey. Effective is effective.”

Though the calmness that had fallen upon her, talking to her old friend, disappeared with him trying to move the conversation back onto why she left. She understood. Four years wasn’t like skipping school for a week and a half. It was years. Years without talking to anyone at this school. Years without telling them where she had gone. Why she had gone. What she was doing. Hell, Jessica wasn’t even supposed to be here right now. No, she was content staying away for the rest of her life and not dealing with this very question. Why? The one question she couldn’t answer. Despite missing everyone terribly, missing Elias, it was just something she had promised herself she couldn’t say. Maybe part of the reason was that saying goodbye was so damn hard. It was easier just to leave. Instead of facing the scary thought of slowly growing distant from people you cared about. Jessica just cut out the middle man. Disappeared and left out the slowly growing apart part.

“As much as I’d love to act like you didn’t disappear for you know how long and be good ol’ friends, but people say I am straight forward… so care to explain please?”

“You know, that’s something I always loved about you. Cutting all the bull out and going right to the heart of the problem. Hey you remember in middle school when Jackson Lightfoot had the audacity to try and cheat off you during that Math test and you literally turned to him and said “NOT TODAY LIGHTFOOT” and everyone started laughing? God, I miss that,” Jess added, once again trying to slyly move the conversation away from the real issue at hand. What could she say? Jessica Pierce was an expert conversation switcher at this point. “Oh light food, that reminds me of that other commercial you did with Adidas. When I say I burst into laughter when I saw you wearing Adidas in that black suit they put you in, oh my god Elias.” she smiled.

She gave him a slight shake of her head as he said his brows are always fantastic. “Ummm…” she started jokingly, “I mean you do have one stray hair, right here,” Jess added, gently touching his forehead. “Nothing a little plucking couldn’t help out with though,” she added with a wink - knowing she this whole conversation was just an elaborate joke - in a way. Not to mention that with a few simple words, Jessica had mentioned something wrong with Elias’ appearance - hopefully distracting him further from the question of ‘why’ she left. What could she say - it really wasn’t a question she would ever be prepared to answer. “So, Elias. Tell me the tabloids are horrible with this thing. What’s going on with your love life? Last I heard you were dating Kylie Jenner, Lily Reinheart, and Jennifer Anniston - and I’m sorry but if I remember anything about you, it’s that you wouldn’t do that.” she added.

He tilted back and forth, almost debating jokingly. “Hmm, well you never know. Somehow people hook up in there… a lot.” He rolled his eyes. It’s just such a dirty place to do it in. Not that he is a germaphobe or anything, but it makes sense. He chuckled,”Not during… it was before, but still. That’s the only time I did it here.” Elias pointed out to her. Plus he actually had taken the girl on the date, yes under bleachers because she wanted to have one before the game. Literally don’t ask he has no clue why. Then it just led to that… the rest is self explanatory. “Unlike a certain someone, who had gotten caught by me… unfortunately.” He shook his head. “I will never be the same after I saw what I saw that night. Why didn’t you lock the door?!” He asked in bewilderment. Yeah, that was not such a good night. He squinted his eyes just trying to discard it from his mind. “Do you know how traumatized I was?” He teased before adding,”I couldn’t look at you the same for like a month.” It just kept popping up into his mind when he saw her. Ugh, Not good.

Elias shook his head, laughing,”Really? That’s awfully crazy. I thought the men’s was for men?” He replied sarcastically back. Tilting his head, he thought for a moment. Debating,”Hmm, I don’t know. I think the highest you could go was a C or a B?” He joked with her. Yeah, he did miss their fun little banter and friendship. So yes, it was nice. She spoke again, drawing his attention in. “Well, it all depends, but I don’t know why wouldn’t I just run into the men’s bathroom? So unlike if I went into the women’s they couldn’t follow.” He shrugged, bringing out the most obvious action to take. “Eh, it was sort of effective. Probably have that guy a fright when you just went in there and started moaning like crazy.” There was no doubt as to how confused that guy was. “Thankfully he wasn’t peeing otherwise you would’ve seen the second d^ck you have ever seen.” He raised his brow laughing. “So for you it has to be scored a five out of ten. Just for all the possibilities that could’ve happened.”

So Jessica just does not want to talk about it. Huh? Wonder why? What could it- stop. He would bring it up and be like ‘If you didn’t wanna talk about it, you could’ve just said that.’ Which might’ve made her feel better? But on the other hand she might not no what to say from it. So it might just make it awkward. Ah, the hell with it. He will easy exactly what he rehearsed… sort of in his head. “I am not gonna pressure you into talking about it, if you don’t want to? I am not that bad of a person,” Even if he is still curious about it. Obviously something happened that she is uncomfortable about it. Or he is just overthinking it… doesn’t matter if he is or isn’t now. “Anyways back on the topic of Lightfoot. How couldn’t I, the look of murder on his girlfriends face scared me half to death. It’s not my fault that I’m smart and your boyfriend’s dumb. I had also gotten a detention for being too loud as well. So misunderstood.” He chuckled. Honestly middle school was a ton of fun. Not that highschool isn’t, it’s just everyone was so nicer and got along great. Especially there was only stupid drama going around. Everyone was just happier and still around. He sighed, turning his thoughts away from the past, from his little sister.

Looking back at Jess, his eyes went wide. “No way are we bring that back up. Nah, so shut it right now.” He looked at her as he raised his brows. That… that was a mistake. Not one of his best choices. “Wow… now that’s harsh. Saying that I have strays. Talk to my sister about the one. She will make sure to tell you about how good she is with them. I may go to hell and back from the process, but I can’t lie. They do turn out great.” He shrugged. Where was his sister anyways. Ohhhh, right. She is on a trip with her friends. Forgot. “Ah, well none of them. I have no clue where they get this stuff from. I am as single as ever right now. It’s nice though. How’s your relationship status? I’ve heard plenty of rumors. Did you indeed actually sleep with the enemy? Shall I go into more detail. Sleep with your moms enemy’s son? Or was it daughter? I am not too sure.” He spoke. It was quite the drama. The only reason he knew she wasn’t dead.

@benitz786 - Hey, that’s alright. Makes Elias seem like such a cooler person.

”well in that case I’m deeply sorry, I will not kidnap you again” he said putting a hand on his heart with a light nod
“Or maybe it does,”
”maybe” he added with a slightly smile

“Oh come on, I’m not that amazing,”
”Debatable” he said lightly tilting his head sideways with a raised brow ”But think what you want, I still disagree”
“Uhm… Well, simple man, Then my job is successfully done here, it will be good,”
He chuckled lightly ”It was a pleasure doing business with you, very recommended” he said with a light smile

She smiled as he explained that the bathroom was a goto for sexually frustrated teenagers. Not that she was surprised, but there were far more interesting places to do it in this school. Hell, the roof was supposed to be a blast. Though she wouldn’t really know much about the layout of this school as she left before high school even started. "H*rny teenagers will basically do it anywhere Eli, " Laughing as he further clarified that was before a game. “Right right. Before, during, poh-tay-toh, poh-tah-toh. ol’ friend,” Jess stated, using the world he had previously used on her. “Oh shut up, I wasn’t having sex so get your damn mind out of the gutter. You, however, were dragged out of there by Principal Peralta fully nude and the whole school saw your goods. And sadly, I got a front-row seat before you covered up,” she teased. “And I know - you avoided me like the damn plague,” she added to his comment about traumatization.

“A C or a B? Excuse that was great moaning right there. If you want to give it a whirl, the ladies’ bathroom is right there w*nker,” she pouted, pushing him jokingly as he moved onto the conversation of the confused guy. “First of all, that was sexy moaning, not crazy moaning,” She started with a slight glimmer in her eyes, “And second, you really that confident that’s the second d^ck I’ve ever seen? You’re cute,” she smiled, “You were my first flash, Elias, not my last,” she smiled. “I think I deserve more than a five. But we can’t all be professional actors faking sex scenes left and right, maybe teach me a couple of tips for the next time I find myself faking an orgasm?”

A soft smile reached her lips as he revealed that he’s not going to pressure her to talk about why she left. Honestly, she really appreciated it. Which is why, a second later, she pulled him in for a long hug, kissing his cheek in the process. “Missed you Eli,” she added, ruffling his hair before pulling away a few minutes later as he answered her idiotic questions about lightfoot and then his Adidas commercial. “Oh really? I have that video saved on my phone. Want to come over for a one hour repeat of that commercial - I promise you it gets better each time you watch it,” Though her smile faltered slightly when Theo mentioned his sister. Yet another girl Jessica Pierce was positive hated her guts.

“Ahh don’t you just love the tabloids?” Jess asked. She had her own incidents in England with tabloids, the famous ‘Pierce Twins’ having a household name there which honestly she didn’t really enjoy. Sometimes a girl just wanted to have lunch by herself without being hounded by people thinking she broke up with a guy she had never gone out with. Though, Jessica was sure what she dealt with was better than what Elias dealt with. Sure she had slight fame in London due to her parent’s position in society, but America was where she could walk the streets unknown. Elias, however, would never really have that. “Single as ever huh? Is that a cry for help?” Jess laughed, “You know I’m pretty good at matchmaking - if you ever need a wing woman,” She added as laughter left her lips when he went into the news about her. “Wow mum’s enemy’s son huh?” Jess got out in between laughs. “Is that what they really said about me? God,” She smiled. “Well, Elias, somethings have to stay a mystery huh? I guess you’ll never know if I slept with the son or daughter… or both.” She smiled.

Zion woke up and got themself dressed for school, making themself a quick breakfast consisting of a bagel with creme cheese and a strawberry smoothie. They grabbed their backpack and their keys, saying goodbye to their parents before leaving the house and locking the door behind them. They unlocked their car and got in, driving to school and parking once they got there. They entered the school, going to their locker first to get the books they needed for their first classes.

They locked their locker, walking towards their first class. They entered the classroom, sitting down at a desk in the middle row. They pulled out their phone, checking their emails and scrolling through their Instagram as they waited for class to start. After a few minutes, someone sat down in the desk next to her. When she greeted them, they looked up from their phone and smiled at her. “Hey Marie!” They responded, putting their phone down on their desk. They saw her around the school often, and couldn’t help but admit that they found her attractive. They were always too scared to tell her, worried that she wouldn’t feel the same way. “I’m doing good, what about you?” They answered, trying their best to keep a nonchalant expression.

Zion had been looking at their phone, looking up when Marie greeted them. “Hey, Marie!” “Hey yourself.” Marie grinned. “I’m doing good, what about you?” They responded to Marie asking how they were. “Oh, I’m good. Excited for the camping trip? Have you gone? I have. We climbed a huge bolder in Norway. When I mean, huge, I mean it.” Marie had a tendency to babble when she was nervous, and boy, was she nervous now! “I wonder how they’ll deal with sleeping arrangements?”

“Damn you guys are some indecisive mf,” “Just tell me where to do, and as long as there’s a bar, ill be happy.” Mikel said back to him as he stuck his hand into his pocket of the black jean jacket he wore. In one pocket he could feel his phone, his credit card, and his fake ID up against his hand. The other handheld his camera. Soon enough he followed behind Daniel and Valerie as they walked down the hallway and back to the elevator. Mikel walked in and leaned against the wall, his eyes watching Daniel’s fingers click the buttons. He had a feeling they would be starting the night here at the Tao which was located in the Venetian.

Mikel knew Daniel wanted to gamble and leave with money in his hand, Mike didn’t really care about that part of the trip. He just wanted to get away and clear his mind or numb it. At least he wasn’t in the same town as before and stuck in his bedroom to think. Here there were a million different distractions. “Valankel Island” and "Mikanerie” Were two names that Dan and Val threw out there combining the three of their names which caused Mikel to shake his head but let a low chuckle out. It was incredibly stupid but it did make him smile. "and he’ll take a long island ice tea,” "No thanks, I would like something a little stronger. “Change that to an Aunt Roberta,” Mikel told the bartender. He knew it was a strong drink, thanks to it being his grandfather’s go-to. Usually, he would only have one or two but Mikel planned on exceeding that tonight. “Hey Mikey, Isn’t that the girl from the bachelorette party that you slept with? I’m sure they’d love an invite up here,” “I am good for now, I am sure I could put a few good words in for you though if you want.” Mikel heard Dan say something to Val and while they were talking Mike leaned over to the waiter who still stood by their private VIP area. “Also a round of 1800 Coleccion shots.” He said to the guy with a smile and then sat back up straight and facing his companions. ”Only if I don’t find anything more interesting to do” “I think that’ll be easy to do in a place like this.”

Well that was awkward, good thing that was over with. He couldn’t remember the last time that he felt he had needed to escape an interaction with Gio, and it especially felt weird to be feeling that way now, when Gio was his boyfriend. He chalked it up to the stress of the meeting ahead of him, and sort of pushed it to the back of his mind so that he wouldn’t have to dwell on it.

The first half of the day passed quicker than he expected it to, and soon the bell had rung for lunch. He walked out of the school, the walk itself pretty quiet despite the noise of the thoughts rattling in his head. The cafe wasn’t that far away—it was far enough away that he could have drove, but he didn’t think it’d be the best idea to put him and his nervous energy behind a wheel. So he was walking, for the second time today.

His steps felt slow and heavy with trepidation, yet he got there on time—not a minute earlier or later. Luciano hesitated outside the door of the cafe, his hand hovering over the handle. Once he walked through those doors, everything would change, he knew. He didn’t know if he actually wanted them to, but they would.

His phone buzzed in his pocket, and he pulled it out to look at it, frowning slightly when he saw that it was Aline calling him. He really regretted telling her about this since all she had done was berate him for it. Maybe she had a point for doing so, but he wasn’t ready to see if she was actually right or not. Letting out a sigh, he declined the call and then turned off his phone. With that, his hand closed firmly over the door handle and pulled it open.

It didn’t take long for Lui to spot him; Jacob, here, in Beryl Heights instead of back in Brazil where he’d always been. He was like a cactus in the tundra in the sense that he seemed out of place to Luciano. Likely not to anyone else, as there wasn’t really anything appearance-wise that made him stand out, it only had to do with Lui already knowing him, and where he came from.

He took in a breath, slowly moving over to where he sat at the back of the cafe, making his face carefully blank. Sooner than he’d expected, he was standing in front of the table. “Um… hey,” he said, giving him a small smile. He ran a hand through his hair, not sure if he should hug him or what.

Luciano was plssing her off. He was being so incredibly stupid—she couldn’t even begin to understand his thought process these days. He had Gio, who was quite literally the best boyfriend a person could had, and YET he wanted to explore a past relationship that had ended with him being cheated on. In what world did that make any sense whatsoever??

The past was in the past and she saw no need to delve into those events that had already taken place, but since he was gonna so that, she didn’t get why he wouldn’t just tell Gio. Like. Not telling him about it just made him seem shady and deceitful but she couldn’t seem to get that through his thick skull. And up until this moment in time, she had been conscious of the unspoken rule between the two of them that involved keeping the secrets between them, well, between them, but she had somewhat broken that when she’d recklessly messaged Gio.

Technically, he DMed her first and she just responded. She had been under the impression that Luciano would be telling Gio about his meeting, though considering he had been avoiding both her and Gio recently, she should’ve known that wasn’t the case before Gio confirmed it. That was upsetting to realize. So anyway, she was going to do what was best for their relationship and insert herself into the middle of it.

Gio deserved to know if Lui’s ex was in town, and she couldn’t just keep the lie like that. Especially not after that discussion they had at the funeral. Luciano would probably be p^ssed but this was for a good purpose, so she was sure that he’d get over it quickly.

She had been held back some time after the bell rang as her teacher wanted to talk to her about a recent test score, so she was a bit delayed in meeting Gio. On her way to his locker, she picked up her phone and dialed Luciano, and lo and behold, he didn’t pick up. She huffed, tucking her phone back into her jean pocket.

Reaching his locker, she sighed, leaning against one of the lockers nearby. “Okay I’m here. Finally.” She rubbed her temple, looking up at him. “Yes, so, to lunch we go and you will probably be plssed too.” Aline started walking through the school hallways, but paused talking, a frown pulling at her lips. “Don’t think I should be encouraging getting mad at my brother… but you know what, he deserves it. That assh0le,” she muttered.

The school day passed by, not too slow yet not too fast either. And as the bell rang for the end of his class and the beginning of lunch, Giovanni left the classroom and headed towards his locker.
Putting his books in it, he waited for Aline as they said they were getting lunch, which he was glad about but also a bit worried since she has been acting a bit weird in their dm. But he tried not to let it bother him, and just go on with his day like it should. With no unnecessary drama.

“Okay I’m here. Finally.”
”Almost thought you bailed on me” he said jokingly making a sad puppy face
“Yes, so, to lunch we go and you will probably be plssed too.”
”Is that how lunches work? I’ve probably been doing them wrong all along” he shook his head
“Don’t think I should be encouraging getting mad at my brother… but you know what, he deserves it. That assh0le,”
”You’re clearly very mad at him, I’m not judging you I’m sure you have a reason” he said ”So where are we going?” he asked right after

"Almost thought you bailed on me.” She gasped, putting a hand to her heart. “Never! Maybe late. maybe really late, but I wouldn’t bail.” Punctuality wasn’t a huge value of hers, but she did generally adhere to her commitments… even though she often ended up late for one reason or another. She just wasn’t good at being on time, it was like the universe was conspiring against her or something.

”Is that how lunches work? I’ve probably been doing them wrong all along.” Even though she was still pretty angry with the whole Luciano y Jacob situation, she couldn’t help the laugh that bubbled up. “So you don’t go to lunches just to get mad? Well what do you even do at lunches then, eat?”

"You’re clearly very mad at him, I’m not judging you I’m sure you have a reason.” She scoffed. “Uh yeah, of course I have a reason, he’s being stupid.” She paused, waiting for the question she expected him to ask, surprised when it didn’t come, and he instead asked a different one. ”So where are we going?” He asked. “This place called Cafe Con Amor. Or something. Anyway it’s close by.” She glanced briefly at him, her brows furrowing. “Aren’t you gonna ask why I’m mad at him?? Are you not curious?”

A slight laugh left his lips as the two immediately changed their drink orders, slowly settling into the booth as they dealt with that - his mind drifting to the pulsating lights in the room and the generally hypnotic music. No really. The club scene was a science. The wrong music, then this place would be dead. The wrong amount of lighting and people would get bored. A fickle industry, but one that was fascinating. His mind moved over to his phone for a split second - quickly checking updates, messages, emails - anything that would keep him on top of it. Things changed in an instant and so Dan truly would never be found anywhere without some electronic device that could connect to the internet. See - in this very club, Daniel had figured out that the male bartender was cheating on the male owner with the female dj. Ahh fluid sexuality - another fickle business. A matter of seconds - that’s all it took for daniel’s phone to feed him information happening around them. Though, Daniel had a lazy expression in his eyes as he looked away from his phone and back towards the other two. Valerie explaining that she’d go dance if she had nothing else better to do and Mikel adding that it wasn’t hard to find what she was looking for in this club.

Though a smile soon befell Dan’s features as Mikel offered to ‘put in a good word’ with the bachelorette party. “Don’t worry about me - you know how I find fun in this mess,” Daniel said pointing around them. Though his smile grew when the various drinks arrived at their table. Including what they had ordered themselves, the shots that Daniel ordered, and the shots Mikel added on. “Well, here’s to a fun night,” Daniel stated - picking up the shot before drowning it. He could feel the familiar burn throughout his body, though he had become so used to it at this point that he didn’t even blink while taking the shot. Though, in retrospect, no one in the booth had. After a second - Daniel took the next shot before leaning back against the comfort of the booth and opening his phone up.

After all this was Daniel Parker, and this was Vegas. Meaning Daniel was about to have some fun. Scrolling through his device, Dan smiled when he found that the bartender had made a sex tape with both the owner and the DJ. “Well…” Dan muttered, standing up from the edge. “I’m going to go make a mess I can’t clean up, See you two sooner or later,” Dan added with a wink, walking out of the VIP section and maneuvering towards the drunken crowd of mostly 19-year-olds with a fake id grinding against a 27-year-old. Until he was right next to the DJ booth - which is when Dan simply pressed a button on his phone, sending the sex tapes the bartender had made to the opposite people. And then, just like that, what Daniel had expected occurred. The owner made his way towards the DJ booth and after a fun screaming match, both of them disappeared to go confront the bartender. What an interesting soap oprea-esque ending. Though, now that the DJ booth was empty, Dan made his way to the booth - screaming into the mic “HOW ARE WE FEELING LAS VEGAS. Mikel, Val - this one’s for you,” before plugging in his own phone to play a playlist his friend Skrillex had mixed before walking off before he could get himself kicked out of the club. Though, in retrospect, the mix Dan had just put on was far better than the trash the DJ was playing.

Though his little DJ debut had made a few girls come over him and scream for his attention. What could he say - there was certain clout that came with pretending to be the DJ. Which is exactly why he found himself in the middle of the dance floor with a gorgeous brunette dancing on him. Not with him, on him. Though Daniel had found himself distracted by a girl nearby - Valerie Wood who was dancing with her own stranger. Daniel didn’t know what sparked his movement away from the girl he was dancing with originally and walk over to where Valerie was losing herself to the music. That was something he had always appreciated about her. Val could always lose herself in anything she was doing. So as the beat dropped, moving onto the next song Dan pulled her hand away from the guy she was with so she was face to face with him. “Dance with me?” Could she hear him over the music? He didn’t know, but the intention was clear.

After a shockingly good conversation with Elias, one that was honestly unexpected since Jessica had expected almost everyone to either ignore her or scream at her, a very, very awkward walk with Dorian to his car - matched with Jessica’s rambling, and a calming (yes she was talking about the weed brownie Jess had obtained) talk with Andy after school - Jessica had finally made her way back home at 5:00 PM, finally coming down from her earlier high.

As she entered the mansion, Jessica couldn’t help but have her mind wander to the fact that there was something that always felt empty about Daniel’s house. Did it have everything a sane person could need? Yes. And probably a little extra for the insane. But it was never… a homey place. The only constant in the house were the maids, butlers, and drivers that the Parker family kept around. Though Jessica did consider the staff family as did Daniel, knowing all of them by name - the sheer size of this house could make a million people in the same feel alone. Though could she really complain? Her home back in London wasn’t much different. Well, her home meaning her parent’s place which was a lonely replica of Daniel’s. Well, except for Jessica’s little brother and sister who’s pitter-patter down the household were the only life. Perhaps that was the reason she went home more often than not… or brought her siblings to her smaller condo a few minutes away from the Pierce estate. However looking around knowing that Dan was out in Vegas, this place felt… lonelier.

A slight smile reached her features as the three dogs of varying sizes attacked her within a few moments, resulting in her simply sitting on the floor playing with all of them for a good half an hour - with absolutely no care in the world. Well, until she saw the time and recalled the odd events that had occurred earlier that morning. Meaning that she’d actually have to take a shower and change - if anything, for the sheer reason to show Malachi that she wasn’t a complete mess all the time. Just… most of the time.

So, for the next 40 minutes, Jess did just that. Took a shower, changed her clothes, fixed her hair, did her make-up - looked decently presentable. Usually, Jessica wouldn’t be dressing this fancy for a date. The issue was she didn’t really know what Kai had planned and for some reason, he was giving her fancy dinner vibes which… honestly really wasn’t her style… but after the way they met, she felt she should try just a little more. Usually, though, Jessica was honestly happy with someone taking her to a food truck and just learning about each other. Though, perhaps Kai would surprise her.

As she put on the final touches of her lipgloss, Jess heard the buzz throughout the house meaning someone was at the gate. Looking at the time, a slight laugh left her lips when she found that it was only 6:04 PM. So he was early? Why didn’t that surprise her? Putting the gloss down, Jess was about to head downstairs to meet her date at the door when she found her phone ringing - a face time from Emmy, her little sister. “What the hell,” Jess mumbled, knowing it was 2 am in London and answering immediately, sighing as she found her little sister and brother huddled together under their bed.

“OOOo you look prettyyyyy”

Jess sighed, hearing the doorbell ring as she looked at her little siblings through the device. “You two should have been asleep a long time ago. Why are you two still awake?” Jess asked, walking towards her bedroom door as she waited for an answer. Though, rather, the two just rambled about how there was a friend at school that did this amazing thing. With a slight laugh, Jess made her way down the stairs halfway so she could see where Kai was standing by the door - Zoila, the housekeeper, having opened the door. “One sec loves,” Jess said into the phone as she looked down to where he stood with a smile. “Hey, do you mind just giving me a few more minutes? Zoila do you mind taking him to the living room?,” Jess asked - though after a few seconds, Jess walked back upstairs and smiled at her siblings again. She talked to them every day, but honestly, Jess missed the hell out of them since coming back to America so any time she had with them, she’d take. Even… if it did mean she missed her 6:13 PM deadline.

After letting the two ramble on about their friends, Jess sighed. “Emmy, Will…” she sighed, “…you need to go to sleep now and I have to go somewhere. So…” she started, though was interrupted by the two screaming that they wanted a bedtime story. “I’m sorry babes, next time I’ll read you two okay?” She asked though it was soon met with the two begging. After a sigh, she looked at the time finding that it was 6:12 PM and walked over to the music room despite likely being late to meet her date downstairs. “Okay, how about I sing you a lullaby instead?” She asked, sitting down by the piano. “Which one?” She started, though she knew which one they wanted without even asking - though their reaffirmation was soon screamed through the phone.

“Okay put the phone down, and both of you close your eyes,” She started, gently playing the notes on the piano as she begin singing the song for them. For as long as she could remember, the two of them had been obsessed with Peter Pan. So Jessica had tried to make up songs and stories about Peter Pan and the Lost Boys - though adding her own twist of course. Though that was, quite literally, a story for another time. By the time she was done, she played the last few notes of the song gently - smiling as she found the twins asleep. “Good night my loves,” she mumbled, reluctantly hanging up the phone as she placed the device in her clutch, finally walking downstairs to the living room - finding it was now 6:20 PM. As she reached where Kai was sitting an apologetic look was on her features, “I’m so sorry… I just had to deal with something… So, Mr. Ax Murderer, are you ready to go?” She asked, smiling at him.
