Having snakes that you slide down and ladders that you climb up
All seriousness, colourful pretty artwork and simple rules tend to make games fun for kids. Checkers, for instance, is more popular among kids than chess. Even if chess is the objectively better game

Top tier advice, all games will be an install success
I think checkers is much simpler to play, which can make it easier for kids to pick up on. I never really appreciated strategy games as a child, though, since planning for future events was really hard.

Candyland and Sorry were my favorites. I can’t just pick one.
Ironically, as a child I liked the game Life the Game. Guess who was good too.
Yes! You just have to have patience when it comes to playing with kids but if you show them the right way it will be fun!
It needs to something that catches their interest. Like colorful tokens, hungry hippo game which is interactive. Then there is the cherry bomb game too that is really fun! As long as, the child is shown what to do then they will start to enjoy the game. It just depends on the setup and the attention span of the kid. I’m the only one who actually likes board games out of my sisters.
