A reading slump, according to Urban Dictionary is defined as a readers worst nightmare . … It’s that dreaded moment when you lose your reading focus, the words on the page fail to captivate you, or when picking up any book, even the ones you love, it feels like picking up a hundred-pound rock.
Have you ever started reading a book that ended up putting you in a reading slump? I sure have… that was Emma and A touch of darkness… At first I just couldn’t continue. I felt so bad and it was like torture. I did finish them, I just can’t leave a book like that and I did end up liking Emma but it was just… I don’t know. It was so hard for me to finish it and I needed a little break after.
