Belle’s lips had curled when Louisa asked her to not sneak on her, “But dear Louisa, if you were paying attention then this would not be a sneak! I was simply making sure if you were paying attentions to your surroundings and it seems you were not.” It was always important to be on your toes like the dancers, Belle thinks because you never know the people who may sneak up on you- especially know that she needed to be cautious in order to not cause another possible scandal, or to have something unfavorable happen.
But even without the seriosity of what was not happening- forcefully debuting with her aunt by her side, who Belle had to make sure to not disappoint much while she was here, in order to make sure what was promised is secured, Belle would have still be incredible cautious and on her thoughts. It was in her nature she thinks- to never truly be relaxed, to always be perceiving while disliking being perceived, to never truly trust anyone- not even Louisa or Atlas, though they may think otherwise and Belle liked to think otherwise too. But when it came to trust, such things was not easy for Belle. The people she trusted the much- Louisa and Atlas, she only truly trusted them by an 87%, because although Belle does not truly think they would ever betray her- or at least she hoped they would not do her like Brutus did Ceasar, if they were under a form of torture or a monarchy had asked them to reveal something about belle, there was a chance they might reveal it for their safety and for the safety of those they cared about and Belle did not fault them much as after all it was human nature to feel fear and Belle did at times feel fear, but there was no fear great enough to make her reveal a secret that was meant to be a secret or to betray a friend.For others that might not be the case, and that was okay, truly.
"Always be on your toes, Louisa! What if it was not I but an old man, who wished to dance with you? One who was already showing signs of greying, and a belly not of pregnancy as a male but of alcohol " Belle said with a teasing voice as she scolded her dear friend for not paying more attention to her surroundings. Being around Louisa was truly relaxing and fun for Belle, there was so much to say to her and so much to hear from her. Louisa simply got Belle, she understood and knew how to handle Belle when she would go on her rants or get lost in her thoughts. Belle eyes lit up excitedly, when Louisa said that she would drink with her, as as they drank, they of course talked. Belle eyes flickering towards Louisa to the crowd, trying to see if she could find the lady she was looking for. Aurelia, it has been long since Belle had seen Lady Aurelia and last she had heard, Aurelia had been in an accident and Belle’s mind was filled with worry and she had also wanted to tell Aurelia about one of ‘the meetings’ to be had. So where was the Ellis girl, Belle thought to herself as she drank- she probably should not be drinking much, after all she had to be alert and she was not the best when it came to drinks but she was with Louisa right now, nothing serious will happen or eventful will happen again because Belle would not dance again and should would stick to those she had already made friends with. “How was your day so far Louisa? Because mine had already giving me a headache. I do not know if you saw but I had danced twice, unlike what I planned and one, the one with Atlas was quite favorable and I enjoyed myself much but the other one has left me in a state of confusion. I need your opinion on whether my words were cruel or not, do you think that telling someone that your heart holds no trust for them is cruel?” Perhaps Louisa was not the best person to be asking this question, because if Belle was considered cruel then Louisa was definitely crueler than her but Belle did not know who to ask right now and all she wanted to do was talk with her dearest friend. So she asked,taking another cup of drink to sip her expression like that of a puppy.
