Dance number 1: Lady Dorothea Addington

“You are most welcome” Baylor gives a subtle smile. “One most valuable lesson I have learned over the course of the years” Baylor reminisces about times where he said something about a lady’s outfit or her taste in fashion, which clearly was never received well. Even once with Dorothea he had made such mistake, and it had stayed in his brain ever since to not ever do such thing again.

Instead of answering with words, Baylor looked over to where the diamond of the season, Lady Adeline Delaney was now talking with the one and only Prince Magnus Rupert Edevane, guiding her to the name with his stare. “I am afraid so, I will not be able to have a chance with her. My prospects for securing a matrimonial match this season would assuredly improve if I were to divert my attention towards other eligible suitors, even if some of them may not initially capture my fancy.” Baylor explained his situation to Dorothea. He laughed at Dorothea calling him a coward, but for her to not get the wrong impression, he also quickly added: “I am not a coward, merely weighing what options make sense logically.”

As Dorothea and Baylor approached the dance floor, he said: “Allow me to assure you, it shall be my personal responsibility this evening to ensure that you have a most delightful and enjoyable night.”

As the music started playing, he let go a little bit. With Dorothea, he felt he could dance in a somewhat more relaxed way. Not every single step had to be perfection, they were merely sharing a nice moment together. “Oh, most certainly, I would be delighted.” he smiled as he guided her to make a spin around him. "Amidst my Highland hike, I happened upon an exceedingly quaint Scottish cabin in the most breathtaking of locations, weathered by decades of existence. It appeared as though time had graciously preserved its rustic charm. What I would do to live in such a cabin.” He paused for a second, mostly to focus on the dance, as they had to move in a different formation. “And the evenings in the Scottish taverns, they possess a charm far more intriguing than any night spent at the gentlemen’s club. They are filled with fascinating individuals and narratives. One gentleman, in particular, was entirely convinced that he had laid eyes upon the elusive Loch Ness Monster. My wager is that he might have had one Whiskey too many. The yarns of enduring clan rivalries and audacious sheep rustlers providing ample entertainment and storytelling fodder for days on end."
