He reached into his pocket and brought out a locket shaped in the form of a heart. He opened it to show it to her and what was inside was a painting he had painted himself- a painting of her playing the violin, where she looked at peace with herself. She was relaxed, very relaxed and Harrison understood why people had labeled her an angel. It was not because she was nice or beautiful, but it was because she was truly an angel.

This is really cute tho, this gift!

And this painting that he had giving to Lady Adeline in the form of a locket was first painted when Harrison was the age of 21, and he had come to ride the horses with Atlas while Adeline was playing the violin. He had excused himself from the horses to watch her play from the trees, because the melody called to him- it was incredibly beautiful and Harrison as drawn to all things beautiful. He had listened to he melody of the violin and he didn’t know how or when he had grabbed a small paper and quill and began to sketch her, and he had kept it with him but today he was giving it back to her.

Love the backstory of this gift, makes it even cuter tbh!
