Well, at least Baylor really wants to get married this year and he doesn’t care much about whether he actually loves the girl or not, mostly out of obligation that he feels he has to marry now. So I think you guys might be right thinking he’ll get married!

well obviously loyalty- he does not condone cheating or whatever . Moreover, he basically wants a love that would ‘drown’ him lets say, something he can tell thousands of stories abou, a chaotic love story
