I get what you’re saying in terms of writing speeds and such. However, you also have to respect the way that the creators are doing it, particularly with them both being busy in their own lives.
The reason they’re asking all to not go further than dance three and stay in the same order is not just for continuity sake, but to be fair for all. Not everyone can be online so actively between work and school. So they are just trying to keep all the characters together, vaguely, by staying within the three dances for now.
They never said you can’t talk with other characters while your characters are waiting. The only thing being asked by Brooke (and Beni) is to not skip ahead with dances. I think that is only fair, no?

I don’t know where this was even ever talked about. the plan for Orpheus and Adeline was always to talk until her next dance came around
that’s what I’m saying. the order never changed. I don’t even know what you’re saying
the order had not changed. the order was not going to change unless Brooke wanted to switch Edmund and Orpheus’ numbers

I’m saying if people aren’t going to be flexible then we should have a harder timeline for the dances because I don’t want this to be an issue every time

literally what we were trying to do was get everyone moving through their dances. Adeline is behind. the suggestion was to help move her along on her dance card so she could catch up

and I’m really done with this argument. it’s been resolved. so that’s the last thing I’m saying on it. I just would like this to not happen again bc I don’t like being accused of being unfair when the very reason for Ade and Orpheus interacting was to make sure everyone was caught up in the right dance # and not waiting around doing nothing.
trying to help people catch up so we can move on. other people’s inactivity or pacing isn’t on me. we didn’t do anything that messed up anyone else’s timeline or dance order AT ALL.
so that’s all I’m saying. I’m done talking about it
