God @DandelionKate I don’t know what kind of messed up story you have for Orpheus’ and Corin’s trauma but reading mine again I started tearing up about half way through

mmmm not too bad but I’m discounting the military stabbing. that’s a voluntarily placement of risk. no trauma points for being stabbed in battle bro. maybe half a trauma point bc physical trauma is a thing but eh
bonus points for dead parents
cheating fiancée is nice plus point
but self refusal to divulge information doesn’t get trauma points

so you’ve got dead parents
half a stab point
point for cheating fiancée

all in all not too tormented but definite trauma
but still thinking you’re at a 7

I don’t think it’s lingering

from that you’ve got maybe wartime ptsd MAYBE
and trust issues

lmaooo yeah I say 7 or 7.5 for you

but not because it’s not traumatic. it’s just not lingering trauma. I feel like trauma leans more emotional. his seems mostly physically oriented with a dash of trust issues. the parents dying isn’t too traumatic either given he’s still heir of whatever

I’m sticking with 7-7.5 on the scale

what battle? It wouldn’t be traumatic if it was in battle, but it was the fact that he was stabbed when it was peaceful by the people he thought were his friends, left to die and nobody would beliee him

LMAOOOO

he doesn’t have one

trick question

I can give him one though

also you wanna see a magic trick ??

@novella what’s Corin’s favorite color?

wanna guess? :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

It is lingering trauma, plus you didn’t read the whole things … I can tell … Because you never mentioned the one officer torturing him, nor the fact he was almost hung on the gallows

SEE I knew that a middle name did not exist

I skimmed tbh that was the longest summary known to man

but I mean okay that’s fair I guess

still I think a 7.5

we got

  • parental death
  • stabbed by a friend
  • nearly hung but wasn’t
  • cheating fiancée

not a bad line up :joy: but again
not really much lingering impact

at least it wouldn’t be for me? idk you’re up there.

I guess if we say stabbed by friends unexpectedly adds to the trust issues and paranoia thennn maybe I can push an 8
but idk Orpheus and Corin might have you beat still

definitely close

I think you and novella know the most about original Corin

like who he used to be

still not that much tho but like you have more of an idea of his personality

no one really knows him now. he doesn’t really have friends :joy: Orpheus maybe

Orpheus might be his only friend

Still missed some

  • Kidnapped sister
  • Father involved in shady business
  • Father murdered
  • Mother died due to miscarriage
  • Leaving his beloved sister to go to war
  • Being stabbed
  • Left to die by people he believed were his friends
  • Being framed by people he believed were his friends
  • Cheating fiance
  • Being imprisoned for crime he didn’t commit (they framed him making it seem as if he was a traitor to England)
  • He was only kept alive in prison to have information he didn’t have tortured out of him
  • Nobody believed his story
  • He was almost hung, he was so close the noose was already around his neck and he dropped down before the noose was cut by a flying knife … Literaly a second later he would’ve died due to a broken neck
  • Returning home thinking how you can relate to your sister becuase she has trauma from being kidnapped and realizing she grew so much that she’s a strangerr to you and you can’t tell her anything
  • Constantly feeling anxiety when somebody is behind your back
  • Trust issues
  • Attacks anybody who approaches him from behind as a coping mechanism

I wouldn’t say it was a 7
