depends on how you cook it
for whatever reason people eat deer jerky down here which is tough and usually spicy
but uh
tasted like meat
but I’ve also had it as a sausage, a burger, and a steak

I literally thought they were extinct until I looked it up like actually this year
bc I was like “why are all these British people in movies eating pheasant?? I’ve never seen one. I’ve never heard of anyone seeing one. I think they’re extinct now. no one eats those anymore”
