Honestly, right now, I don’t have the mental capacity to think much on it. Myself and Beni should probably take a chance to talk about it and see that we’re on the same page.
my personal recommendation, (this isn’t set in stone or anything, and its not me saying what the decision is overall or anything, this is just a recommendation based on my personal opinion) I feel like as far as the npc related miscs, at this stage of the rp, it should probably be focused on characters closely related. Parents/siblings. Unless an mc is actively part of the scene. Then if it’s a storyline that leads further back, let a little more of a connection develop between your characters and those who may choose to read, first. Then start connecting in the backstory.
I’m not sure if I agree with this, part of the function of the misc thread is to develop stories even that are less relevant for the main story. It’s sort of background details. Take Darius and Mervinia, while it doesn’t have to do much directly with Albina, it goes into the generation before. Like Albi’s father and aunts, their life in the same estate as Albina is living in now. Even if the main focus is Darius and Mervinia’s relationship, it allows me to set up the history of Albi’s family through it. So I still believe there is still value in these types of interactions and I would be a bit upset if the decision would be there is no longer space for it.
I just think we should split it in 2 threads, that way everyone can continue to do what they want and have a dedicated place for it so people know where to go for what.
Also @Madilfill and @sunflowerjm, I have quite a busy day today even if I’m not at uni (family stuff ect.) So I am not certain if I can get something out today if either of you happens to reply, just wanted to let you know it might be tomorrow or late tonight my time, so there is absolutely no rush in replying!
