Okay, okay, will take this into consideration!
hello besties here are a few things to help with the wiki like formatting-wise and stuff
- to get your characters into the category pages (e.g. this ‘Ladies’ page) you need to go into your character page, then edit, then go to Source Editor, scroll to the bottom and add a line of code that looks like:
[[Category:Ladies]]
[[Category:Gentlemen]]
- I changed around the character info box thing a bit but just a few things that might help, when editing your character one - first of all you need to go into edit, then double click the character box then you can start editing
To put each line of text on separate lines (e.g. if you are listing several different friendships, or family members), you need to end each line with < br >, for example:
Jameson Ellis (Father) <br>
Roselyn Ellis (Mother) <br>
- alsooo if you want to make it so that it links to the character page which I love doing you have to write the character name in [] brackets – and also write their full name because that’s what the character pages have been labelled as
for example:
[[Aurelia Juliet Ellis]] (Sister) <br>
[[Cassian Adam Ellis]] (Brother) <br>
- and then the quotes thing I added a template so it looks like it does in the white box
this is how I would write the quotes (if you go to edit → then source editor)
{{Quote|I do not require anyone in order to ‘shine’,|2=[https://drippingquills.com/t/bridgerton-official-rp-thread/30155/442?u=novella Lydia to Egbert Clyde]}}
so basically
{{Quote|INSERT QUOTE,|2=[COPY LINK TO POST Character to Character]}}
then also if you want to add multiple quotes it looks a bit better if you add a space in between the quotes which you can do if you add:
{{Spacer}}

I put [[Category:Ladies]] at the bottom of Lydia’s page and it works!!

Yeah, but I am kinda upset that the pages I worked hard on are gone from the thing now…
