Orpheus: plan was at first that he was just gonna be a villain. that’s kinda twisted into a tragic character accidental villain type beat. quick run down, he was abused by his father and brother, sa’d by his brother, in love with Ilyas since they were kids, loves Lia as both a symbol of everything he wants to achieve and his future and what he should be but also as a friend, his brother threatened Lia (bc I’m pretty sure she had an engagement set with him? or someone?) and Orpheus brother was like “I’m gonna do to her what I do to you but worse. and there’s nothing you can do” soooo Orpheus tells Lias mom about her running away or whatever was going on to get her taken away bc he knew she wouldn’t be safe even away. his brother is a Duke. they’d find her. it would’ve been worse. so Orpheus is the reason Lia got brain rot, then he realizes she will still never be safe until his brother is gone so when his brother comes to “see” him again Orpheus kills him. thennn Orpheus gets drunk and kisses Cass one night. Orpheus gets drunk and goes to see Ilyas a lot. Orpheus and Finch you guys know aboutttt anddd idk if I missed anything with him but basically he’s just mentally messed up and really in love with Ilyas and has done some bad stuff idk

Corin:
I don’t really remember tbh but the fire that killed his family, his brother started with matches Corin gave him so he blames himself for that. Corin was also engaged to a girl he got pregnant. so he lost the love of his life and a kid in that fire too which I don’t think anyone knows about. he’s in love with Lydia. he bought Teddy? I think was a thing at one point. like freed him from sex slavery and got him to work for him on his trade routes and kinda took him as a mentee. he sees Teddy as like a sub little brother. I think they’d be around the same age-ish. Corin also runs a secret school for women? which I never fleshed out. but he has “brothels” around the world which is like a front for higher education for women bc in Asian he just hated the way women were treated and weren’t allowed to read or write so he started them there. never talked about it but I think it would be cool for Teddy to have helped with them. similar to the sex trade but this time on his terms and with a purpose. could’ve been healing for him. plus Corin essentially wants to pass everything to Teddy eventually. the brothel workers were given free schooling and other women could like sneak in through the back. the brothel allowed women to be inconspicuous running back and forth. sooo he was opening one in England at Blackwood manor but I never got around to that. he basically was in England to work, set up Teddy to take over the European branch of his trade company, set up the school, then leave. but he stayed because he also has that secret engagement to Belle which idk what happened with her but he probably will collect on that if Lydia is in love with someone else

oh I forgot Corin is also a drug dealer 
I totally forgot about that. we never got into it but the original plan was for him to have a business deal with the royal family on coke and opium imports as well as doing dealings in England and doing foreign liquor imports at The Crow Bar sooo that’s where a lot of his trade money comes from. other junk too but drugs is a big one

it would be pretty funny tbh for them to sit in the crow bar or something just getting messed up. Ilyas has a secret love. Corin’s is getting married. idk wtf is going on with Harrison but I’m sure it’ll be worth drinking over
plus Corin never drinks so it would be interesting to see it happen now

I already deep cleaned my entire apartment, did all my laundry and dishes, groomed my cat (not a euphemism my actual cat), took an everything shower, made meal prep, spent a bunch of money shopping online, and read my book. idk what else to do
