Oh my god, I just realized something while writing Edgarā€™s bioā€¦his mother is English and his father is German. Language barrier? Though, probably not, as he travels to England to courtā€¦hmā€¦

Umā€¦does this make sense?

Edgar FĆ¼ller was born to Elizabeth Powell, an English woman, and Oskar FĆ¼ller, a German. Oskar had gone to England for the social season, and heā€™d spotted a woman with beautiful dark curls and brown eyes. Heā€™d immediately gravitated towards her, and it appeared that the attraction was mutual. He learned her name was Elizabeth, and they soon began attempting to court, despite the language barrier. Luckily, Oskarā€™s father knew English, so he was able to translate in the beginning, eventually managing to teach Edgar English, and teach Elizabeth enough German to be able to get along in this new country.
