so they wait until the person is free knowing who is next? I mean as long as people finish up their dance within a couple posts people shouldn’t be waiting too long. or find someone else to dance with like orphie 
that’s the nature of the season. sometimes you don’t get to dance with who you want and sometimes you have to wait all night

I do think the dance cards should still exist (and at the very least - if you don’t get to all your dances, talk to that person and misc it or talk about what will happen)

truly : you get 5 dances. if your person is taken up, sucks to suck. go faster next dance. or still go court them even if you didn’t dance. I think that keeps it moving fast and makes it more realistic

Yeah and by the time that beni announces the time skip the ones on their first ones would either hurry up and finish that one or hurry up and have one or two more
like you get 5, just go and find person 1 and immediately start that dance up then prep to move to dance 2 on your own. at any point you can approach people who are free or have a convo with someone who is on the side or between dances, but the dances will be reserved for the 5 people. I think that’s the best
