@Bluecookies I have an idea for their next interaction though … I was just watching a movie set in the Regency era, and this girl asked this other girl “And your mother? Is she staying in town with you?” and the other girl said “Our mother is dead.”
And I realized … Bruce might not’ve heard about their mother dying and could ask “Oh and how is your mother? I haven’t seen her in a while.” and she’d be like “Bruce, she’s dead.”
