Rain Bi Hexie

Rain beamed as the girl offered to swim with her. “Oh, yes, yes please!” She cried, rolling out of her floaty with a splash. She leaned onto the side of the pool and waited for Jane to change. “Don’t be too long. I’ll get lonely.” She winked.

While Jane was in her room changing, Rain got out for a second to throw away her sundae bowl. While she was out of the water, she took a second to set herself up on the chair next to Jane’s. She lay out her towel over the seat and sat out her sunglasses and phone where they could stay dry, even though both were waterproof. She popped in her waterproof wireless earbuds and began playing one of the only one of the band’s songs she liked: Their first single, Firecracker. It was one of her favorite compositions, complex but nott overwhelming, but it had been a pain to write. In the end, though, it was worth it.

She dove back into the pool and swam around in circles while she waited. She couldn’t help but cringe at the sound of her own voice: She was so young, so inexpierienced. The industry hadn’t gotten to her yet. As much as she hated her young voice, though, Rain couldn’t help but sing along.
