I jokingly curtsey as I get back up onto the dock as he applauds. “Thank you, thank you.” I say with a chuckle.
I sit on the dock with my feet hanging off as I watch Corey head up the rock. Damn. I think to myself, admiring the view.
To my surprise, he effortlessly does a double front flip, and I applaud with a big smile. “Looks like you’re making me pull out the big guns.” I say with a cheeky smile as I get up and head back up the rock.
I take a deep breath before getting a running start and do a twisty flip into a perfect dive. hahaha I literally have no clue what I’m talking about rn
I swim back over to the dock where Corey is sitting and ask “Got any more tricks up your sleeve?” with a very slight flirty tone.
I gently fixed a head collar rope around the horse. It had a pretty caramel colour and the mane was white and wavy. “Don’t tell me we have to clean the stalls.”
My eyes darted open. I turned around and saw a guy who looked everything but amused.
“Oh my God. I almost jumped…” I said, placing my hand on my chest.
I glanced at him from head to toe and then looked back at his face. His fashion choice was quite different. He’s probably from a fancy home because back home people wouldn’t be seen wearing an outfit like that. I smiled a little to distract from the fact that I just starred at him.
I turned back to the horse “H*ll no. We are going on a horse ride.” I chuckled. “I’m Serenity.” I introduced myself.
I carefully lead the horse out of the stall.
Erin was having a peaceful sleep when the intercom came on. What the heck and I thought school was bad.
She sat up and rubbed her eyes, while still listening to the message. After the intercom went off she happily went back to sleep. After a while, she sat up in bed and noticed that, Jane already left, so she went and checked the front door for the envelope. It said that she had to be paired up with someone she didn’t know at a lake. “Interesting…” Erin thought.
She arrived at the lake and layed by the water waiting for her partner.
“Looks like you’re making me pull out the big guns.”
“You better do because I’m not joking.” I chuckled. I swam back to the dock and sat down waiting for her to show me her trick.
“Oooh! Damn.” I shouted after she did a twisty flip into the water. “Got any more tricks up your sleeve?”
“When it comes to diving tricks, no. But-” I said slowly.
“…when it comes to other things, yes.” I added with a smirk.
I leaned backwards while resting my arms behind me again. “Oh really? Like what?”
I rolled my eyes jokingly. “That’s for you to figure out, babe.” I chuckled.
I leaned my head forward and went through it to dry it off a little.
I must of really scared her because she practically jumped out of her skin. I couldn’t help but laugh. “Ahaha! Oh my gosh classic.” I saw her looking at my clothes up and down, which I was pretty used to since I dressed nicely. I suddenly realized that the only people i talked to so far were girls. I walked over to the caramel horse she was petting.
“I see you’re checking me out. Don’t worry I’m pretty much used to it.” I winked.
“Do you ride horses?” I asked. I would much rather talk about myself first, but it was polite to ask someone else questions.
I thought about the question for a while before looking back at her.
“Anything to be honest. Hiking, Swimming, hang out with my friends…” I shrugged.
“What about you ?” I asked. “Besides travelling the world.” I chuckled.
“Me? I don’t know-” I stop to think about it since most of my time is spent on publicity and different events that my parents prepare me for. “I do love the beaches in Malibu. Whenever I’m home I always try to find time to go out surfing. And when I’m away traveling I like walking around and shopping a little bit to see each city and learn more about it’s culture. But I would have to say my favorite thing to do is spend time with my brother and friends. I have gotten pretty good at Call of Duty for that.” I say, laughing about some of the crazy things I have done with them.
“Ahaha! Oh my gosh classic.”
I rolled my eyes but I couldn’t stop myself from smiling. “I see you’re checking me out. Don’t worry I’m pretty much used to it.”
I looked back at him. “Oh please, I wasn’t.”
“And I doubt you are used to it.” I chuckled teasingly.
I grabbed one of the saddles that were placed next to the stall. “Do you ride horses?”
“Sadly, no. But I know some stuff about it. What are you waiting for? Get yourself a horse.” I said.
I leaned back, listening to the crackle of the flames. I decided to gently ask about the pool. “Um…why didn’t you want to go to the pool? Yes don’t have to say…” @elixr
“Surfing? Are you good at it?” I asked curiously. I’ve only surfed once in my life and I kinda loved it. “I have gotten pretty good at Call of Duty for that.” I let out a laugh. “I will have to test you on that first.” I looked down at the water.
“Do you see that?” I asked.
“Definitely not competitive level, but I’d like to think I’m fairly decent.” I smile, peering down into the clear blue water.
I look up at him as he is gazing into the water when he asks if I saw something. “Uhh, no…” I saw lifting my feet slightly out of the water. “Why do you ask?” I say, slightly nervous as to what he saw in the water.
I carefully look over the edge to see what might be down there.
“Definitely not competitive level, but I’d like to think I’m fairly decent.”
“That’s good enough. My sisters wouldn’t even think about it…” I said.
I smirked when she leaned forward to see what I pointed out. I slowly pushed her back into the water. “I won 100%!” I chuckled.
As I leaned over the water to see if there was anything in there, Corey pushes me back into the cold water. I come up laughing and say “I can’t believe I fell for that.”
Then, and idea pops into my head and I grab hold of his ankles which were dangling off the dock and into the water. “My turn.” I say, pressing my feet up against the side of the dock. Then, holding his ankles, I push off, pulling him right off the slippery dock and into the water with me.
I laughed as she fell into the water. “I can’t believe I fell for that.”
“Me neither to be honest.” I said still laughing.
I felt her touching my ankle. “Oh no, no, no! Wait-” But she already pulled me down with her.
“Don’t let this turn into a war.” I chuckled.
“Hey, you’re the one that started it.” I respond with a chuckle, splashing him a little bit then swimming away just a little before he can splash me back.
We spend the rest of our time in the water splashing each other and messing around, then I get out to check my phone to see what time it is.
“Oh sh*t, we were supposed to be back half an hour ago!” I say in shock, not realizing how much time we had spent here. I wrap myself up in my towel and walk back to camp with Corey after a fun day at the lake.
She shook her head and waved it off,“It’s fine.” She nodded,“Yep, you are correct.” She smiled and held the ball between her waist and hand. She paused,“Oh, okay. I have an extra pair if you’d like. Well, that all depends on your size as well.” She offered her.
He shook his head with a slight laugh," Nope, I’ll go to a few, but normally I just write songs or chill." He told him. “Ah, nice to see another one like me.” He joked. “Well, if you want next time theirs an event you don’t wanna go to, I’m always here.” He thought for a moment. “Originally from Asia.” He told him.

ORP: I never discussed where they were from with the owners of the siblings.
She told me to get a horse, which I was completely surprised by.
“Wait, what? I thought we were just going to pet them?” She was already getting her horse so I just decided to pick one. The one that caught my eye was white with a white mane and tail.
“I guess I’m getting this one.” I called out. I opened the horse stall and led the horse out. I rode horses when I was about 9, but I was rusty and barely remembered what to do.
