Camp Solace | Official Thread

After a few months of getting his bearings, Jaxson had noticed that the wood piles around each of the cabins were practically empty. He sighed to himself, Whoever upkeeps this camp isn’t doing a very good job with stockpiling wood for winter. He wanted something to do to help distract him from thinking of her again. He gently pulled out her wedding ring on his necklace and rubbed it softly. He shook his head and put it back under his shirt as he went to go find an axe. After twenty minutes, he finally found one and set off into the woods to get to work.

After a half hour of chopping down trees, Jaxson took his shirt off having worked up a sweat, completely forgetting that he still wore his late wife’s wedding ring around his neck. He got a notification and half-smiled, Of course, now they task me with doing exactly what I’m already doing. He noticed that it wasn’t a solo task nor was it to be rude/insulting to women, instead it was a two-person task. He shrugged, Well, at least I’ll have help, I really hope she doesn’t mind getting her hands dirty. He put his phone away and continued on for a while until he heard approaching footsteps.
