“Yeah, that does make sense. They don’t want us to see spoilers.” Jay said, pulling a camcorder out of his pocket and fiddling with it. “So, tell me a bit more of what you can do with your powers.” He said, looking at North and blinking. A small click resounded.

“I can just…manipulate ice. Make icicles appear, shape ice…make water freeze…” North began to say. When he heard the clicking sound, North jumped out of the seat, very confused where the sound came from. He sat down when he realized it was the camcorder, still a little spooked that it turned on as Jay blinked, and it turned on without Jay pressing a button. “are you…filming me…?” North asked hesitantly, fully prepared to skewer the camcorder with an icicle.

“That’s cool. Have you tried to make things like weapons? That’d be cool.” Jay held his hands up in surrender. “I snapped your picture. Please don’t skewer me. Me blinking was snapping a picture. I can delete it if you want.” Jay said, blinking twice. “There.”

Deshawn frown, he has never heard of a color called aqua. “Aqua color?” He asked arching a brow. Thinking about it now, he has heard of a color that is ‘aqua’ but has not actually see it. He tried to picture a blue-green combination and it seemed cool, pretty cool. “Are you gonna ask me about my type of girl too?” His eyes widened, “You’re bisexual? Not that i’m not cool with it, my best friend Jay is biromantic asexual himself.” He quickly added. “But yeah, what’s your type of girl?” He asked her curious about that too. When Destiny started telling him, her type of guy/girl Deshawn listened attentively. “Wow, that’s really sweet of you. You’re like really sweet.” He told her looking into her eyes, “my new 2nd favorite color is brown.” Brown like your eyes- he thought/

She shook her head, “I’m not uh a really that much of a fan of working outsides.” Bugs, dangers of wild animals were a big part of it. She wasn’t necessarily afraid of them attacking her and not being able to protect herself- she had the power to manipulate fire from hell for godsake but she was just afraid. She couldn’t explain it, it was umm really complex? Maybe she just had a phobia for wild animals, who knows. Animals such as dogs, horses, cats, goats, and cows were cool though. She pursed her lips, crossing her arms under her chest thinking about other animals she liked, while she did this, she didn’t notice that she was pushing her boobs forwards. “No, we’re not gonna die. We’ll be fine.” He said, how was he so sure? what if they did both die, then what? Eh, at least she could add this to her list of fun things she did before she died, going to the forest to kill a bear and retrieve wood with a hot dude or something.
They headed into the forest and away from the camp, looking for some bear to kill and some wood. They found a nice tree and Naomi turned to look at Jaxson “So umm what do we do?”

Destiny laughed, “Yea, think of like seafoam or that kind of blue you get when you mix the paints together.” She said thinking for a moment. She laughed, “Yes, I am and I’m glad you’re cool with it. Mum wants me with whoever will make me happy and Dad wants me with a nice guy who can provide for me and take care of me, you know.” Talking about her parents reminded her of a recent conversation she had with them. Deshawn told her he liked brown when she stood up. “Would you excuse me for a moment? I just was reminded that I have to take go take a pregnancy test.” Destiny left the room for a moment.
When she came back, Destiny sat on the couch with something in her hand as well as an indiscernible look on her face. She laid back down on the couch with her head in his lap and handed him the pregnancy test. “Here, if you want to take a look.”

North stared at the guy in shock. “Y-you took a picture of me…?” He stood up again and got really close to the guy, becoming as menacing as he could be. “Where you trying to mock me because of how pale I am?!”
North grabbed the dude’s shirt, lifting him up a bit. In the past, anytime someone took a photo of him, it was either to make fun of him, shun him, or was taken for some milestone in life that he achieved only to have it hidden away.
North was concerned that this guy was going to make fun of him, kind of ironic since he was on a tv show…but he came here for love.

When Destiny said she had to take a pregnancy test, Deshawn’s eyes popped up. fck, had he used a c0ndom? he didn’t remember using one, sure he has always wanted a big family but he wasn’t sure if he was ready yet for a child. Would he be a good father? what if he was not, would he raise a child who would hate him? Possible k!ll him in the future? he hoped his sense of humor will make his child love him, he also hoped his child inherited his sense of humor.
Destiny came back with the pregnancy result, negative. He took a deep breath, “Oh.” He was a little disappointed but at the same time relieved. "umm how do you feel with it being negative?’ he asked trying to comfort her, “Also…do you know how to draw for our task?”

“It’s totally fine!” In reality her wet hair said otherwise. She noticed a yellow frog sitting on the grass across from her, and she almost jumped out of her skin. Upon a closer look it was just a cute frog who jumped into it owners hands.
“But hey, you found my pet frog. Say hello to Steven.”
“Hi Steven!” She waved at the frog, who stared at her with it big glossy eyes. “Good thing he didn’t go into the pond and get lost. I was just looking for my frog - well its not my frog but I visit it now and then. Are you a frog whisperer by any chance?”

Jaxson shrugged he knew there would be people out there in the world who didn’t like working outdoors but hoped, they at least knew what to wear when working outside. When speaking to her he noticed that she was pushing her chest towards him and didn’t seem to react. He thought for a moment about something she could do, with a soft smirk, he said, “If you can lift the axe out of that tree stump with no powers, you can take the wood and I’ll take the bear, do we have a deal, Miss?”

" I don’t think my powers will be helpful in lifting an ax out of the tree, so I guess I can do without powers." but the thing is, Naomi has never had to cut down a tree. So she didn’t know how to do it, “Yeah anyways I don’t know how to do this.” She said letting out a big laugh. She was completely and utterly clueless on how to chop down a tree, “Can the handsome young man show me the arts of cutting a tree.” She has seen him cutting down a tree, so she knew he knew how to. When she heard a growl, she jumped hiding behind him. Well, if that was a bear… they were getting close to finishing this task, if not then oops.

Destiny smiled softly, “I’ve always wanted kids. I think that’s another part of why I became a teacher. So I can be around kids.” Right…her job, the one that she loved and was currently being investigated for. “So, yea, I’m kind of sad, but also a little…relieved, with my job on the rocks I don’t know if a child on the way is the best thing for me right now, and you have your soulmate, of course.” She laughed, “No, I don’t so hopefully they’ll accept creativity and we recreate the painting with posed photograph. Maybe we’ll get lucky at an old thrift store for the clothes.” She shrugged, “What do you think?”

“Hey, I deleted it. I’m sorry, ok? I just like to take pictures of the people I meet. It’s a habit of mine. I’m not trying to be creepy, I sw-ack!” Jay was lifted off the ground by the collar of his shirt, squirming. He ripped a hole in the air via spacial distortion, freeing himself and diving headfirst into the rip, reappearing several feet away, landing on his feet. “What the f*ck!? I deleted the picture! I’m sorry! Jesus Christ!” He wheezed, hands balled into fists, nails biting into his palms. Jay was terrified.

North pulled back a bit as he saw the rip in time appear, falling back on his butt as suddenly the guy he was holding onto disappeared. He turned around as he heard the dude’s voice again. He crawled backwards with wide eyes before his back hit the tree. “What did you just do?!” He gasped in shock.
It was…at that moment. Their phones dinged with their new task. North ignored it, keeping his eyes on Jay, equally as terrified. “I-I’m sorry!” He gasped in response to Jay’s wheezing.
If North could have turned paler. He would have.

Jay caught his breath as North asked him what he did. “Spatial distortion. Comes with the camera manipulation. Please never do that again. I swear, I can and will trap you inside a photograph.” North apologized, and Jay hesitated before nodding. “Alright. You’re forgiven.” He said, holding a hand out.

Deshawn frowned, “What will an old thrift store help us do?” He chuckled, it was a good thing they didn’t say to perfectly recreate the drawing, because even though Deshawn was good at drawing- just a little, he would never be able to be at part at drawing that image. “Wait, we need drawing materials, do you know the way to the shop here or?”

Jaxson smirked and dusted off his hands wanting to watch. She said she didn’t know how to chop a tree then they heard a growl and the girl hid behind him. Jaxson’s face became serious, “You might want to get the axe, Miss…” he said as a second growl grew closer. “If you don’t have an offensive power just swing the axe like a baseball bat, it’s not proper for an axe but in this case it’ll work.” He steadied himself and made sure he was ready for the bear. When it came into view Jaxson was a bit surprised, “Ooh, you’re a big fella aren’t you.” He said his voice low, then to the girl he said “Just don’t make any sudden movements, we don’t want to scare him. We need the element of surprise.”

Destiny laughed, “because there’s more than one way to ‘recreate’ something. We could pose exactly like they are with similar era clothes by a waterfall and take a picture.” She shrugged, “I mean I passed a few shops on the way here. I’m just not that good at drawing, are you?” She smirked a bit, “Besides I’m not even properly dressed.”

“I know right? They’re not dangerous to us, they’re sly rather than the types of animals that attack us, they have a gorgeous red coat … Who wouldn’t love them? I want a domesticated fox once, if I don’t become too lazy to find it and just buy a dog instead. Would you like to own a domesticated wolf? Not a dog I know some people say dogs are just domesticated wolves, but it takes years of evolution for wolves to become dogs, right? Because you said you hated dogs.”

“Spacial distortion…?” North asked quietly, mouthing the words to himself. After Jay explained it, and threatened him sufficently, North hesitantly shook Jay’s hand, and because of his nerves frost began to appear on Jace’s hand, slowly crawling up Jay’s arm. North pulled his hand back and apologized again, putting on some gloves. Because of how quickly North pulled away, Jay’s hand would have returned to normal in a few minutes, feeling temporarily numb for the time being.
