no, all the horrible non-forums stuff

I’ll have to look forward to it! Although I’ll probably be super busy with finals because my birthday is at a horrible time of year for that

Rummy has always been my favorite card game! It’s somewhat based on luck but you also have to think about your moves! It’s a matching-card game and the basic goal is to build melds which consist of sets, three or four of a kind of the same rank; or runs, three or more cards in sequence, of the same suit.
When I was younger and on a vacation with my family we would play it all the time; my grandparents, cousins, aunt… I would always have so much fun!

Rummy’s definitely fun to play! Although there is a large part of it that’s luck based, playing wisely can definitely help to minimize the risks.

What are the best card games? @Discussions

I really like UNO, I think that’s the only card game I play regularly with friends

My family and I used to play card games a lot using the standard deck. We usually play this Filipino card game called “Pusoy Dos”. This game is a variation of Poker and the Chinese card game “Big Two”. The goal of this game is to shed as many cards as possible by using combinations and such. The first one who runs out of cards on hand is declared as the winner of the game.

There’s also this popular and hilarious card game in our country that I used to play with my cousins and friends. The game is called “unggoy-ungguyan”, which literally translates into “monkey-monkey”. The goal of this game is to eliminate as many pair cards as possible. The one who gets the card that doesn’t have a pair is declared as the loser of the game, or in other words, the “‘monkey”.

And of course, I also love playing this card game that destroys a lot of friendships. It’s called Uno :eyes:

Which card games are you most proficient or like to play the most?

I think I’m best with playing a trick taking game called oh hell, since it’s the game that my family tends to play the most. I think I’m decent at trick-taking card games, although I’m not as good as some of my other family (who count cards for strategy I could never )
