Hey everyone !!
I started by messaging on sign up threads to say this, but I thought it would be easier to make a thread and tag all RPers!
So you may have gotten (or you maybe will get in future) a notification that I edited your posts. No, I’m not changing around what your posts say, I’m censoring the posts properly of swear words. This means that they are blurred and the vowels are replaced with punctuation.
So, please, everyone (especially those with edited posts) make sure to do that in future so we don’t have to go around editing them!!!

It’s for ads, please go have a look at the announcement thread that Shannii made on the subject. Also, there should not be any $3X scenes on the PG-13 part of forums.

What counts as swear words though?
Like hell, crap, damn…? Are those considered swears?

Censoring it like you said is most important for ads, as they don’t accept just blurring them. Blurring it is also useful because people who don’t want to see swear words don’t have to, but ‘cr-p’ censoring is the most important.

Uh, I don’t consider them swear words, but at the same time, it’s probably best that we don’t overuse them. So don’t have them in every post just 'cause you can and the same goes for having a dozen damns in a post too. Make sure you can have a reason for writing it? Just like anything you write. (wink)

I’ve just been going through more roleplays to censor swears, but there are a lot of swear words in the general chat, and it will take a long time to get rid of them all. I’d just like to ask if you know you have used uncensored* swearing if you could go back on some of your posts to censor them? It would make it a lot easier if people did a few of their own posts, and we can get rid of uncensored swear words a lot faster!
