Surprised there wasn’t a debate on this already but which style do you guys think is the best?
Classic, INK or LimeLight.
Personally, while I have a soft spot for classic. I prefer INK overall. I don’t care that it’s never going to be updated though because it doesn’t affect me much.
As a reader: LL and INK. I can read stories in Classic but they have to be REALLY good.
As a writer: LL! I love how diverse it is with all the features, hairstyles, and clothing options. I’ve tried writing in INK but it just doesn’t work for me. Besides, I hate most INK hairstyles for women.
I have always liked Classic the best and always will. Maybe part of it is because I started reading on Episode when the app first came out (although I think I was around 10 or 11 at the time) and there only was Classic. I hated INK and Limelight both when they each came out. INK slowly grew on me, partially because that’s all I could ever find anymore, but I’m still not a huge fan of Limelight.
If I were to read a story in Limelight, it would have to be really good. INK I would read as long as it was at least decent. Classic I love though. Back when Classic was the only style, up through early on in INK’s rise, all the featured stories were in Classic, and even the ones that weren’t my favorites of the Classic style featured stories were great. Classic will always be the best in my eyes.
Classic used to be my favourite, but now I just feel like all the characters look the same. I read mainly LL and a few INK stories, but that’s mainly dictated by whether or not there’s gender CC. I can only really write in LL because there’s more features and you can make more unique-looking characters (imo). Of course, people still go for MCs and LIs with the similar features, but oh well.
This is 100% percent true. I used to read the classic stories when there weren’t any other styles. My favorite stories were Hunted, Party Girls, Campus Crush, and Rich Witches.
