In this thread I will be giving tips and tricks on how to use a PC quicker and smarter. You can always impress your friends with these tricks!

Tips and Tricks
  1. Press Ctrl+C to copy your highlighted text.
  2. Press Ctrl+Z to paste your copied text.
  3. To clear a text from all fonts, colors etc. open Notepad, paste the text, copy it again. It’s clear!
  4. To highlight all the text in a page, press Ctrl+A.
  5. Highlight a text by pressing Shift+Arrows in your keyboard.
  6. To undo Auto Bullets in Word, click on the small box near the bullet and select: Undo Automatic Bullet.
  7. In Word, you can make a picture be behind the text, or fix the position on the page however you want, by selecting the small box near the picture and select “Fix position in page”
  8. Episode coding and App donacode is almost the same.
  9. By pressing Ctrl+Enter on the Episode Forums, and Shanniiwrites Forums you will post the reply you were working on.
  10. When saving an image through Photoshop, don’t delete the dot!

Extra Tip(s):
11. Want to save quickly in Word? Press Ctrl+S and it will immediately save!

What’s an auto bullet?

In Word, sometimes when you add a - it auto bullets the text, which means that it moves it a little nearer to the left of the page, like when you press 4x enters, or 1x tab. It annoys me. :sweat_smile:

I always use Shift+? in Discourse, the Shift+R is what helped a lot in the most frequent poster wins!

Using Shift + ? opens up a menu of discourse shortcuts, some are practical

Oh, you’re right! Like when you want to search something in a PDF and other stuff you can use CTRL+F And type in what you wanna find in the bar that pops up! :smile::black_heart:

Hmmm… this is a really awesome thread, though we have loads of Apple computer users too. So maybe some shortcuts for them too?
