Coronavirus - Is it fake?

Personally I think if you think it’s a biological weapon and your sources are other people who think it is a biological weapon then your argument is flawed

Following that logic, just because more than one person think the earth is flat then that makes it flat :woman_shrugging:

Despite the fact we have evidence it isn’t

With all due respect, I didn’t say the earth is flat. That’s scientifically impossible. I’ve read and seen a few things which brought me to this conclusion about corona. My autism always causes me to be curious and I wanted to share my curiosity with others. Please don’t mock me. I didn’t mock you.

I know you didn’t say the earth is flat and I never said you did, I just pointed out a similarity in the logic.

I didn’t mock you?

That wasn’t mocking. ThIs Is MoCkiNg.

This statement is really disrespectful. We are entitled to our own theories but once you start saying, your theory is wrong, then that’s when you disrespect. It’s not flawed since there’s no evidence. There’s also no evidence that this virus is natural. No one knows anything about it. So we’re allowed to be curious until there’s solid evidence

Also, here’s another article

https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.businessinsider.com/scientists-steve-bannon-coronavirus-engineered-chinese-bioweapon-2020-10%3Famp

And another

My opinions come from articles I’ve read.

How is it disrespectful? It’s true. :joy: More than one person do think the earth is flat but this doesn’t make it so. I did not say that you think the earth is flat.

When did I say your “theory” was wrong? I don’t think I did. I disagreed with what you were saying and the sources you provided even backed up what I was saying. But I never said “you’re wrong”

There’s no evidence it isn’t either

That’s how it came across to me. You could have just said you disagree with me rather than make a statement about people thinking the earth is flat. It just says you think I’m dumb and stupid. That statement is usually used when you want to call someone stupid

And tbh how is it not evidence? It’s a theory and it’s articles like these which make me stop and make you think. Everything the media feeds you are lies and agenda.

My opinion:

I don’t think this virus is fake, infect everyone should take it very seriously. I do though think it’s all about POWER, its always been about power and always will be.

I think it was created to reduce population, let’s face it the population is only getting bigger and the world is getting smaller. It’s funny how pandemics always happen every few 100 years

Literally. It’s done on purpose…I see a very distinct pattern. Please read what I said about the virus being fake. I mean as it being a fake virus like saying a product is a fake replica

And what sort of virus gives the government the right to lock the country? They never locked anyone in previous pandemics…

You answered your own question here

Well I do say in the original post that it’s a theory. Also the other articles you provided are also theories. Everything published about this virus is a theory. No one knows anything about it. But we’re allowed to be curious

I didn’t provide any articles, I didn’t need to. The articles you provided backed up my point pretty nicely.

I know, human rights have totally gone now

Can we be honest, though? It’s this kinda ignorant misinformation that gets people killed. It’s all fun and games to pretend that COVID is fake and all, but not when it’s used as an excuse to be racist (blaming Chinese people) or to be stupid when it comes to masks and social distancing and put people’s lives at risk.

Because it’s not “just a theory”. This “theory” is actually a conspiracy theory that is part of the reason why America has such a high mortality rate.

Seriously, what’s wrong with America? Flat earthers, anti-vaxx, climate denial and “coronavirus is fake” ignorant people are everywhere in the US. Yeah, we have an issue with TERFs in the U.K., but this obsession with ignoring experts is seriously worrying. Closing your ears to scientists doesn’t make you smart. It makes you the opposite.

What we know about COVID:

  • There have been coronaviruses around for a long time. SARS is an example of a coronavirus. This one is a new strain, but we know it’s in the coronavirus family. Many coronaviruses are passed between species.

  • Social distancing and wearing masks does work.

  • Whether this was man-made or not, it would be extremely stupid to assume this was a bio-weapon sent from China since it wiped out so many of their own people.

Oh, and we’re close to a vaccine. Some people predict April. I hope you’re not anti-vaxx too because otherwise you’re screwed.

Oh— I’d love to see how anti-vaxers will react to the new vaccine they know they will need :man_dancing:
