Kiya, Patrin, and Thia don’t want to disappoint the Boggle and step up to the chest. As they do, Lucan and Salazar remain behind, both knowing that Boggles can be pretty mischievous. Except, they soon realised that boggles also have an anger problem. Its claws appeared to grow and bolted toward the pecular pairing. Moving quickly, it knocked the wind right out of them and they fell backwards. (-1 stamina to each of them)
As for the three by the chest, Thia carefully opened it, releasing a large cloud of purple smoke. During their coughing and wheezing, the boggled rodded them. (-1 gold coin to each of them)
Unable to find the boggle after the smoke dispersed, they grudgingly returned to the path again. Not far along the path though, the group reached a crossroads. One way appeared to be the same trampled path they had been following, the other was narrower and overgrown with gnarled and knotted roots sticking out of the ground.
Would any of the adventurers like to go check out the narrower path? This is going have them meet some kind of monster/creature to battle. You can each choose separately, with or without discussing it.
