Hi Everyone,
Thought it might be a kind of cool idea to share with each other how many words you have written each day for your story or stories. Think it would be cool to see what numbers people have and if it gets more and more words each time or even to see if when people share it motivates others to write more or see if they write the same amount of words!
I haven’t written any today yet.
But I wrote two pages of notes yesterday.
dang two pages? lol. I haven’t written any either unless you count work emails and messaging my co workers then I prob wrote like 70 words
I don’t know how anyone else keeps track of how much they write but I use a spreadsheet to keep track of my word count for all of my various writing projects.
I keep track by day, and by scene/chapter, like this
I always try to make sure I write at least 100 words when I actually work on writing.
Every once in a while, i only write like 50 words or less, so I don’t count that in my tracking list and add it with the next day’s progress.
Big Nerd Energy and I’m all for it.
