Did you ever read a book without reading a summary first?

I can’t read a book if I don’t know what it’s about! Reading the summary is important to me, that’s how I decide if I want to read a book or not… so no, I’ve never read a book without reading a summary first!

What about you, @Bookworms?

No, I don’t think I ever have.

No, I always read the summary so I know what the book is about.

Not usually. I’m fairly certain that the only book I’ve started reading without reading the summary first is City of Bones by Cassandra Clare, but that’s only because I’ve already watched the corresponding TV show.

Nah, I need to know the basis of the book’s plot so I can understand when certain events take place.

nope

yes i have, bcz the books here always have spoilers in summaries :sob:

I don’t remember ever reading a book without reading the summary first. Maybe a sequel in a series I’ve read? Even then, I still think I read the description first.

Nope. I need to read the summary to know if the book is worth reading in the first place.
