Digital, it’s a lot cheaper
I love watching videos of traditional art, though, since it’s so cool to see paint move around
Hard to choose!! I really love seeing digital art but I’m not a digital artist, I’ve tried it once and it honestly seems hard to me. I do admire digital artist, you guys are amazing and I’m impressed every time!! Traditional works better for me, I just love oils haha
I do like traditional, I really do, but digital provides something called the undo button, and I have any color I can think of, so I prefer digital.
What do you like the most about both types of art?
I usually see people on the EF draw digitaly…
I’ve seen more people on here that do traditional on here though… So im concerned, what do you preffer out of those two?
@Artists
I’m not an artist but if I draw something it really depends. I mean I prefer traditional but I don’t always have the right colors and stuff so that makes digital a lot easier.
Digital or Trafitional, huh?
Personally I don’t have a preference because they both have their own pros and cons.
For traditional art, it’s costly if you want to practise colouring techniques, like oil paint and coloured pencils, they are really expensive. And also, not undo button.
As for digital art, you can’t really touch the the end product, at most you can only print it out, it’s different from traditional art. Also, you need to be able to afford a device for it.
But you can do digital art on any device that can run a drawing program, so just the computer, phone or whatever you use to access the forums would be enough
I’ve honestly invested much more money into traditional art, so I think that digital art is cheaper, because it’s a one-time investment into a device
That’s basically what I mean.
Not everyone has a phone, you know?
Yeah, but you can buy the cheapest smartphone you can find and still draw as good as on a professional device on it. But if you purchase lower class traditional art materials, they usually don’t work as well as professional ones
I’ve recently become interested in digital art, and I enjoy it a lot. I’ve made a couple of drawings, such as my profile pic, and even a bedroom background.
But I also like traditional art for lettering and stuff like that.
What do you prefer, @Artists ?
