Yup. And it sucks. POC people marched for equality so now it’s time for disabled people to March for the same. We want BASIC human rights. Is that too much to ask or are we just a drain on society?

If you ever do want to discuss data in regards to this I just want to let you know I am open to that, I don’t know if I have solidified this enough but I actually agree with you about discrimination against disabled people and think something should be done so if you want some better methods of primary research just let me know.

What can we do to help disabled people? How can we make their lives better? Does the government help and hurt disabled people?

Things like that.

Hmmm…well, I’m able to walk, but I have trouble with stairs, so if there are stairs, please install railings so I can hold onto something.

Or make accessible stairs. Escalators (they lowkey scare me because heigHTS-), elevators…

Accessible stairs are ones with railings. Ramps are good too.

And also have hand held menus so people don’t have to ask what’s on the menu at fast food places. I get embarrassed when I have to ask people what’s on the menu. And I once used my phone camera to enlarge the menu, and the guy in front of me thought I was taking his picture.

Yes! Some places I’ve been have them, and it makes me happy. I should thank them next time I go to a place with hand held menu options.

I feel like smaller stores tend to not have them.

Yep. Mines 20\70 in my good and 20\200 in my bad. This is with glasses.
