Honestly, in my opinion classical music is sooo under appreciated
Aha my fav classical intrustement is probably violin because of twosetviolin- they are rad ppl sm
And they are the people who got me into classicla music more-
I love it ! I’ve been listening to it all the time ever since I was a kid. I was maybe the one child to ask for opera all the time
Violin for repertoire, flute for sound/timbre. I don’t know which one I like playing the most, though I want to say classical guitar ~ Oboe is very beautiful too
Everything. From the quality of compositions themselves to the fact that it pushes the instruments to their limit. It’s also a lot of hard work or could be said to require perfection, and I respect that a lot.
Beethoven, Fauré, Chopin, Tchaikovsky, Tarrega… Though he’s not a composer, I love David Nadien’s violin playing, particularly for the Swan Lake Solo (small shoutout hihi).
Beethoven’s Kreutzer sonata (first movement), Dance of the Blessed Spirits (Gluck), Capricho Arabe (Tarrega), Carmen fantasy (Sarasate), Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso (Saint Saens)… and so many more Erlkönig (Schubert) is one I’m absolutely in love with too !
Classical has been in my life and here for me for a very long time. Rachmaninoff, Chopin, Beethoven, Mozart, Franz Liszt are all in my playlists. Am also attempting to learn piano to be able to play their music.
