Great point. There are some features that I dislike, but even with the features I like, I try to mix em up, you know? Likeā¦ Red Garnet Matte with Full Wide lips and a Round Downturned noseā¦ with a Diamond face and Deepset Downturned eyes.

I still see people are mixing it up. I donāt think thereās as much repetition in LL as INK because there is more to work with.

People are free to make what they want, but that doesnāt mean I think itās good or should be praised. I mean, even with 5 of each feature, sayā¦ thereās so much variation you can have. There are so many combinations that can be achieved. I think all it does is show that people canāt think outside of the box. And that has nothing to do with someoneās freedom to write poop. Itās just my freedom to identify it as poop once itās written

I donāt particularly see the connection between a lack of variation to someoneās writing ability.
As long as there is a variation then I see no issue. I for one use different hairstyles, skin tones, colours, eyes, face shapes, but lips I tend to mainly use full heart pouty or small heart for women occasionally the full round too. But i prefer the others personally.
Iām not against people using variation, I like to see it but Iām not obsessed about it, it wonāt effect the story to me, if itās written badly that will ruin it. Not the characterās picture. Itās the story Iām tuning into. I didnāt praise it I just think itās an over the top judgement of creating a character. Writers get pushed enough in many ways with their stories. Itās their story, let them make what they want.
I think itās symbolic of a wider issue on Episode. People donāt vary what they think is āattractiveā. And often, the same people who struggle with that variation also struggle with making their plot unique, giving their MCs unique personalities, giving the romance interesting and original dynamics.
Iām not stopping people from making what they want. Any writer who wants to do well should know and understand their demographic. That means listening from time to time. And having threads like this gives people somewhere to turn when they actually wanna listen to the people who are going to be reading their stories.

Well I guess I donāt see a need to create issues in something where I can get by as it is. We all find certain things attractive, thatās the freedom of being ourselves. Plenty of people offer CC so you can make your own variation too.
As for not knowing how to make their plot original enough or create characters with personalities etc etc, if they canāt make it, then they shouldnāt write it. Itās not just about pretty pictures. The story has to be good. Meaning the characters should be people in your mind the plot, be lifelike etc. I just see no point in harping on about a small portion of something that isnāt the main focus of the story.
But that is me, sure different characters appearances is great. But still, you will see repetition because itās an app. You will see a lot of people rushing to use the same new hair or same new clothes etc because episode takes a while to send out some new things, and eagerly awaiting community members want to freshen things up and love new styles, so use them. If there was larger options frequently given it would probably lead to more variety.
But if you canāt enjoy a story based on content, donāt read it.
Iām all for giving suggestions, like switch things up by doing thisā¦ or thisā¦ But i donāt think itās as drastic as itās being made out as. There is plenty of variety around, and the ability to create your own if the authors vision isnāt yours. I support the authors right to make what they like, they live with the story. I also respect that isnāt everyoneās view, but itās mine, and to be honest, I think itās supportive of both sides to an extent so 
I donāt know. I think youāre overplaying the whole freedom thing, personally. Criticism of an issue doesnāt impede on anyoneās freedoms. If I could stop them from being repetitive, I would have nothing to complain about! I can still enjoy stories if the repetition of the character models bug me because I donāt need to wholeheartedly like every single aspect of a story to find it enjoyable. I think the enjoyability of a story is on a spectrum. If the plot is good but the characters all look the same, I can identify that and still praise it for the aspects it deserves praise for

How am I overplaying freedom? It was a word choice, I could also have said it is nature, or life or a variety of others, but given Iāve had hardly any sleep and canāt be bothered to over think wording at the moment, I went with what I went with.
You have your opinion, im not saying youāre overplaying anything. But okay, think Iām overplaying if you like, doesnāt bother me. I made my comment 3 months ago, so to be honest, I was done with my say so back then, I only replied because I was quoted and itās rude not to value someoneās words enough to reply, in my view. Itās not something that bothers me enough.
