What kind of harrassment?

Whatever the answer is, yes. Harrassment should be illegal by definition.

repost from episode

cat call culture is wrong. we dont have it hear in Denmark ( I am not sayining it dosent happen but its rare. I have a friend who is from the US but live in Denmark now. and she said she would fell more safe walking down copenhagen in a bikini. then winter clothes in california )

I hate when I see online people defendining cat calling. that its a guy thing argument is so wrong . I have never been cat call by Danish people. Actually I have in my 23 years of life only been cat called onces and that was in London.

Harassment should be illegal, especially sexual.

It doesn’t matter what kind of harassment is it, harassment is wrong. So, I think harassment should be illegal, regardless of its kind.

Some countries have super narrow laws for what actually constitues sexual harassment.

I would go into it, but the details can get kinda graphic and I don’t want to non-joke trigger anyone. Let’s just say in one state you can get away with a hell of a lot more than in another. It differs wildly between countries too.

It’s a bad state of affairs in places where the definition is too narrow, people get away scot free with some really nasty stuff.

So yeah, not technically legal, but there’s too much red tape and blurred lines for it actually be useful to victims

Mmmmmmm I see what you mean by that it’s just all really depending on the states which is so upsetting

Right?

Some states in the USA have a lack of some laws that I find baffling. Or downright disturbing.

Oklahoma is one, and it is ridiculous what an offender can get away with there.

Right it’s so shameful

Especially in New York, they don’t deal with my “issues”… Well.

Yeah, it’s a real bad state of affairs for sure.

Improvements are needed all round

I agree with you, simply because of logic

It should be illegal. In New York, there is so much name calling…
