I mean if you’re getting into real, actual scepticism? You’re absolutely right. I make sure not to listen to everything I’m told. It just happens that when you look into something a reactionary says you usually find out it’s a lie or being misrepresented somehow.
When you look into ideas from the left it leads you to hard data and science. I prefer truth and logic to fearmongering and feelings, personally. Though feelings are also valid in a lot of circumstances, fearmongering never is. Climate change is a real problem with scientific evidence backing it up. Immigration is a good thing for the economy going on all available data.
But yes, it is absolutely possible that we’re both misinformed. Unlikely, but possible

I disagree. “Owning the SJWs” has been a huge part of why people vote the way they do. Many trump supporters have actually claimed they vote for him because he makes the left angry. Plus, they’re apologists for his actual illegal activity, showing that they don’t care about their own country’s democratic process. They’d much rather have him in charge.
The rise of his popularity has coincided with a rise in right wing presence online. That’s not a coincidence.

I don’t know. They’ve tried a campaign against Trump before but it didn’t work because they were targeting the wrong things. Now they have something against trump that is actually proof that he can’t do his job properly. The reason he has so much backing politically-speaking is because the republicans don’t want to concede to the left. But they have other candidates. They’d be much more up for backing a campaign against him when they have another candidate in the running. It worked with Corbyn and it can work for the right if we let it
People are a lot more morally opposed to forcing someone out of their job than they are just simply not allowing them to get it again, so I think it would have worked.

in my complete opinion, yes, he got the impeachment charges, but he won’t be convicted out of office. why? well, the senate is basically runned by republicans. and in which, it won’t pass the senate. maybe, maybe not. but my best luck, is that it won’t. ; this impeachment wasn’t even necessary. he literally has only what? a year left of his term? the only reason why the house wanted to impeach him, is because they don’t want him re-elected again. it was stated by the house before. ; in ways to, he abused his powers? well, then, shouldn’t have literally every president before trump been impeached aswell?

I’m fairly certain he isn’t going to be booted out of office for this, and there’s a sadly high chance he’s going to be reelected, but I can’t help the sweet feeling I’ve got over the fact he’s finally gotten in trouble after years of political bs.

In all honesty… it won’t work. Why? The political climate at the Senate. Majority of those people are Republicans and it’ll be hard to convince them to vote for impeachment. In my opinion, Trump ain’t even a Republican, but that’s another cake slice for another party.
They should’ve impeached this peach a long time ago. Why now? He’s a creep, bigot and obviously a little wonky in the brain. The Republicans and his devout supporters are keeping him in office. He represents the “ideal version” of America (I call bullshit!) and people, at least the ones who support him, don’t want that to change. They need “the man”.
Nothing against them by the way, I just won’t support an ignorant doofus who separates kids from families and talks about sexually assaulting women… no thank you.

It all depends on how the trial goes. I wished they had just let the election run it’s course. It’s stupid that they did this in the last year of his presidency. If the trial fails then he will most likely be reelected because it will put a dark mark on the Dems reputation. Either way, the outcome will not be good for both parties. Most of the people are pissed that they have done nothing but talk about the same thing over and over again. I kind of miss Obama because the press actually did their job and brought up more issues on other problems than just the president. This has literally been four years of hell for those who are forced to listen to the news. I have no idea how the people of America are going to deal with more drama about the president. I’m sick and tired of hearing about everything he tweeted about and the choices he made. No president has made the perfect choices so what is so special about his choices. Why force the people to listen to garbage for 4 years when all of the presidents in the 3 years have made the same decisions for everything. The only difference is that Trump is barreling through without the niceties.
