Do you discover animes/mangas on your own or ask for recommendations?
If so, is there a reason? Maybe not wanting to socialize, etc?
For me, I just discover them. I could never ASK what animes to watch by others. Hell nahhh.

I sometimes ask friends who also watch anime for recommendations. But most of the time, I just browse through MyAnimeList and see if the premise intrigues me enough.
Both, actually. Some I’ll discover, like Akame ga Kill, others will be recommended.
Both but I have a friend with the best recommendations so I usually ask them first
