Do you find a painting changes as you step forward or backward to view it?

@Artists I don’t really notice a change for me, but maybe you do? How’s your experience?

Well, I think there was something about Claude Monet, who’s paintings looked better far away.
Aren’t there even some paintings that are meant to change when you step forward or backward? I haven’t seen any but I think I’ve heard of them.
We already discussed this in the ex staff chat, but I can confirm this is actually true. From up close they are very vague, when from a distance they give such a sharp image, which is fascinating!
