Do you sneak food into cinema/movie theatres?

I certainly do, more often than not. The prices at the cinemas are ridiculous and (most of the time) people don’t check for stuff brought from outside the place.

Yes! I sneak candy in. In my jacket because they don’t search kids :laughing:

I can’t we aren’t allowed to take our bag and jackets with us into the cinema. If you have them with you they will take them from you and put them in a special room. :roll_eyes:

Sometimes. Depends on the day and if we got something before. Either way my family still buys movie theater popcorn.

Alllll the time. The snacks are crazy expensive at the theatres

Hm, not really. I just like to eat popcorn when I’m watching something so it’s easier to buy it there! I do sometimes sneak in water or some other drink because the prices at the cinemas are… awful

I sneaked a bag of crisps into the cinemas by putting in my bag. The guy didn’t really check, so we got in. And yes, I finished the bags jn the cinemas. It wasn’t really nice but I was young at that time.

I did once, but another time when I went to the movies with my boys, they did and I didn’t. It’s because I was really craving nachos with cheese sauce, and they don’t sell that at the grocery store. So, while my boys got regular chips without any dip or salsa, I stood in line to get those nachos.

Lmaoo yes bruhh I’m hungry and I didn’t like the fact that we couldn’t eat in the cinema except for what you ordered there and they were also expensive so yes I sneaked in snacks

Yeah but only because the sweets there are ridiculously expensive and I usually have them as a treat. I don’t usually eat them during the movie though because the rustling of bags is really annoying. I do remember going to the cinema with my family and my Mum had bought a bag of sweets which was really hard to open so she was rattling it for a few minutes but it honestly was so loud and people were tutting, I don’t blame them though. I just think if you’re gonna bring your own sweets then maybe open them before you go in and fold the bag over.

When I had braces, we used to sneak these popcorn twist things because I couldn’t eat actual popcorn (they’re similar to cheetos, but instead of cheese they taste like buttered popcorn)

I used to sneak food and candy into movie theaters all the time. The theater was right around the corner from my house and the dollar store was right next door. HOW COULD I NOT SNEAK FOOD? I used to go into the dollar store and buy dollar candy and then sneak the candy in my hoodie when I got to the movies. It always worked :weary: then the dollar store went out of business and now I’m in pain :sob:

I rarely even went to the movie theater :pleading_face:
There was a video I think of a groups going through tests dressed as superheroes to see who can sneak in candy

I find it so weird that you have to sneak food. Here, the cinemas let you bring food in because they can’t be asked to check dietary requirements. When you go on the website, they say that they can’t be sure that food won’t be cross-contaminated, so people should bring in their own stuff
