I think that it’s slightly toxic, and I certainly wouldn’t drink it, but I like having painted nails and don’t think that it’s super bad. However, I’ve done like no research on the issue

Hmmm, I never thought about it as something potentially dangerous, but when I just did some research I read that chemicals in the nailpolish can get in your blood. In most countries that’s not a problem, but not everywhere there is so much control on the chemicals and their amounts used as here, so it actually goes wrong in places…

I never thought about nail polish in that way. It’s just something you put on your nails and it looks pretty? haha But this made me do a little research and apparently most nail polishes contain dibutyl phthalate, toluene and formaldehyde, known as the “toxic trio". I love the smell of nail polish but it is toxic. Is that going to stop me? No
