I haven’t checked Dorian out in a long time. I’ll need to check that out again. The last time I looked at the coding was daunting to try when it’s not very easy to get. I actually think Episode is easier. Maybe because I learned Episode which makes it hard to switch to an easier method.
Same here! Coding is way easier on Episode.
I feel like Dorian is easier, I got the hang of it fairly quickly. It’s definitely restricted though. You can’t move characters around like I feel as if their arms can be used for certain reactions And there’s still no choice memory -_- I still struggle with Episode and they were my first. Tales and Chapters feel like a happy medium.
I’m kinda sad that no one else has done full animation like episode. Still waiting on that!
Spotlight has. and you can write there too.
I only have a bit of experience with Dorian, but dislike it. As far as an interactive story goes, it’s not really interactive as you can’t remember choices. Stories are also very romance focused, which is not my thing…
Omg the characters look so much like Episiode. How do they get away with that?
Downside to Spotlight is you have to download it. I can’t use because I have a Chromebook, otherwise I’d definitely be writing on there!
I tried writing on Dorian like last year, it’s super easy to use. Except, the app is entirely romance focused. It’s my least favorite genre, so writing stories on Dorian isn’t really worth it for me. It’s nice for visualizing dialogue and stuff, I guess. I just wish they included different genres
I think one downside of Spotlight is that it isn’t sorted as well as Episode. It’s hard to find certain outfit pieces etc because they’re not labelled very well
Ohhh. I had no idea. That definitely sucks.
