Egyptian Makeup

Ancient Egyptians of all genders took pride in their appearance and often enhanced their looks with makeup. They used what was around them to make their products. The most popular products included Malachite (a copper ore that gave a green eye makeup colour), Kohl (used to draw thick, black lines around the eyes), Red ochre (used as rouge or lip colour), and Henna (used to stain the fingertips and toes).

  • What do you think about Egyptian makeup?
  • Would you ever use any of these?

I use Henna.

I just thought of a terrible Hetalia joke. Someone stop me.

We use it to put patterns on our hands…

I love Egyptian makeup! They look rad! :eyes:

And I wish I could try Henna one day.

Egyptian style makeup looks so pretty. Its just so eye catching. The kohl looks really amazing especially, and then one of my dogs, he looks like he has kohl eyeliner around his eyes.
