What are some of your best tips for people coding on Episode?
Start first with watching Joseph Evans coding tutorials. It will be a lot easier then reading the guide that episode has.
If you’re an advanced coder, make sure to re-read/preview your script at least twice to make sure the directing is perfect.

like, ive now gotten more used to guessing distances but OML SOMETIMES ITS LIKE WHERE ARE THEY LIKE NOT EVEN ON SCREEN IVE LOST THEMM

The Joseph Evans tutorials are great! I learned how to make backgrounds by watching one of his tutorials.
You can also do a search in the directing help and tips section of the E forums. There are some helpful threads with coding tips there.
Dara Amarie’s website also has some cool templates that’ll make your story more visually appealing, like the mirror dressing game. I’m using that one in my contest entry.

You can search for words and you can select all of the words you’ve searched for and change all, for example if you would like to change a character’s name if you have created a new one or so.
To help to organize if it gets very long. For example for every scene, customization and mini game. The you can end up with only a comment

Etc. And you can just press them to view the code you want. Less scrolling and easier to find the code you want to look at
