Maybe in the original it will be explained but I don’t see that it will because in the beginning of the story you get a flash forward where they are both in school… and that hasn’t happened yet in the story and the sister is still “crazy”. Yeah um definitely not respecting people with mental illnesses by having this character lol.

I’m not gonna lie, when the sister gets yeeted across the hall in the first scene I let out the ugliest laugh, that was ridiculous - is the MC Popeye, was that her big transformation?

Lol in the original she stands up for herself in one fight and suddenly she has almost super human strength!

Ehh… I think the story begins to by not revealing the reason she hates her sister (the Mary Sue lol) but the original story is still being continued so I don’t really know if the author will go into this or if the character will just remain evil the whole time.

The thing about a mean girl is she’s gotta have some level of charm, this cow is just a nasty b!tch, even Regina George was clever and had a superficial glamour and charm about her. The worst burn Olivia could come up with was “loser ___”, so lame.

With mean girls there’s a humor to them that the reader can enjoy… but with Olivia you just hate her and besides that she only really has a cliche personality.

I wouldn’t even call it a personality, she’s just a series of offensive actions used to drive the story, she’s not a characters, she’s a plot device.

Boring.
Writing a memorable mean girl that everyone loves to hate takes way more imagination and planning than it seems. I haven’t read this story but the ‘mean girl’ sister’s best insult is, “You don’t have a boyfriend and you never get invited to parties.” Who cares?? Boyfriends and parties aren’t everything in life!

Hey everyone! I’m back with another painful episode of My Sister’s Crush
So this is the second Episode. (Or third, honestly, can’t remember)
But basically what happens is that her sister and her bf are supposed to drive her to school (except that the evil twin said that she was driving with her “friend”) Anyway, they don’t go to school. They ditch and the evil twin goes to smoke with her boyfriend. Anyway, that’s where the LI is and he’s like- “Yeah no if she wants to go to school she should go to school.”
There’s a gem choice to actually go to school with him and I pick it because I honestly just wanted to see what would happen lol. She still gets in trouble. Twin sister doesn’t- because of course.
Anyway, she’s up in her room kinda sad and mopey and the LI comes over to apologize and um… I found this perfect little gem of a conversation:
Don’t remember what she was replying to- who replies like that? Cringe Episode cringe!
I’m gonna put a poll here for what we should call the LI:

I have to give this story SOME credit tho because the LI likes her before her “transformation”, which with Episode is honestly hard to find XD.
And ahh… here we go- possibly the most overused line in Episode (or in any stories in general):

Moving on from this mess… So then after that the mom comes home and talks to Mary Sue:
I actually think that that is a pretty good villain line. (The evil twin comes in after the mom has left obviously- the evil twin isn’t saying this kind of stuff in front of the mom…. All the time… )
So evil twin is going to a party:
At the party, the evil twin is talking to her best friend how her boyfriend broke up with her after he found out that she tried to get with his best friend (but this boyfriend never really shows up again lol).
These kinds of lines said constantly are what makes this character kinda unbelievable. It makes it seem more like she’s trying to get pity and less like she ACTUALLY believes that everything is her sister’s fault (which she does believe).
I do like the comedic self-awareness of the best friend. She’s more aware of what her friend is doing but because she is a loyal friend (or tries to be) she stays with her.
Now to my least favorite character:
(this is at the party):
Hey um, fellow girls… I have a question. Would ANY of you ever even CONSIDER talking to a guy like this (romantically) if you see him talking like this? It’s not that it’s mean or anything like that- it’s just so cocky and annoying!
I do like his humor but everything else… no… god no… And the second one… Dude you go after every single girl you see- so don’t you say those things about other people if you’re one yourself lol
Anyway, the episode ends by the twin sister pretending to be the MC at the party and sending a video of herself at the party doing “bad things” to the mom.
So… what are your thoughts lol?
