Episode VIP: Is this worth it?

So a few months ago, Episode launched their VIP subscription which costs $6.99 per week. In this package, you get:

  • 50 gems as a welcome gift
  • 10 daily gems
  • Free passes when reading their official stories
  • No Ads
  • And you get to get double the gem you get every official story chapter completion!

@Episodians, do you think subscribing to this is worth it? Why or why not?

For me, I don’t think it’s really worth it. While 10 gems daily is appealing, I think there are better offers waiting in the plus buttons of the gems and passes in the top right corner of my screen (or bottom right, I really don’t know now). I also don’t want free passes on their official stories, and I’m sure we all know why-

So yes-

  • Will you give this a go?
  • Do you think the price is reasonable?
  • What do you think of this compared to their old offers?

i mean if its a combination of all their regular persk at a cheaper price, go for it.

per week is too much, maybe like per month

especially if you got school work and can’t do it that week cause it popped up suddenly, then its 7 bucks down the drain

No not worth it. 6,99 per week is really expensive
Btw almost. No one really reads their official stories

As someone who doesn’t read on Episode regularly, I don’t think this one is worth it at all. Episode in-app purchases are too expensive.

its a good app, i like the programming im just not alowed on the app ;-;

I like the programming, too. I just don’t like the company. Their decisions always tend to be less of their audience and more of themselves, and they never actually listen to those who tell them what’s wrong about their app other than bug issues

their cheapest plan is 9 dollars per month WITH thousands of shows to watch yet episode is making 7 bucks a week but the stories are filled with the same plot and cliches :sob:

I don’t think so, I think it’s a good thing for regular users.
But maybe $7 is to much? Msp had cheaper vip than that :flushed: And for a WEEK??

I personally don’t want to buy it but those who do are free to do whatever :relaxed:

the gems might be worth it. but I am disappointed the free passes only apply to featured stories.
