Since I want the forum to be more a fun and positive place, I want us to play “Eretz, iir” (I don’t know how do you call it in your countries)
(Hopefully many people would participate)
After we finish filling the list, we start comparing list - each participant says what he/she wrote so we could see if anybody wrote it.
How to Play?
A person should say the alphabet by heart until the participants say “stop”. If the person reached the letter “L”, for instance, then all the participat should find: a country, a city, an animal, a plant, an inanimate, a masculine name, a feminine name and a profession starting with the letter L.
Since it could last forever until the participants are getting tired of it, let’s say that we’ll do at least 7 rounds, if it suits you.
I'll exemplify
Faith begins to recite the ABC
Mezoria: “Stop” (enough that one person says “stop”)
When Mezoria says “stop”, Faith should reveal the last letter she reached
Faith: “E”
If Faith was stopped in the letter E, all the participants need to do is find the things I named above.
5 minutes will be given to you to think and write what you need to.
5 minutes later…
We start comparing lists.
Random.Tomboy: “country - Ethiopia”
Everyone checks out if Ethiopia is written on “country” category.
After checking out what each of us wrote in the country category, we go next to city.
By the way, Random. Tomboy doesn’t need to be the first person to say what she wrote. If can be each of us - doens’t matter.
And so on.
After we finish finding things starting with “E”, we start another round with a different letter. Same rules.
If you want to add any category or suggest anything else, It’d be great .
Note: when we play it, please create a neat chart with the categories. I personally recommend you make it like this.
About points:
Each word gets 5 points and does not qualify for bonus points. Unless:
- It’s written once and gets 15 points.
- It’s written twice (= I mean by two people) and gets 10 points.
Well… needless to say, if someone didn’t write anything on a category, then the participant doesn’t get points for that at all.
The Rules

We’ll play it every week or two weeks if the first game goes well and people enjoy it

You’ll have 5 minutes to finish filling the list. Whatever you have sufficed to write - you have sufficed!

You aren’t allowed to do it in pairs. Nor can you ask someone else “did you write…?” before time runs out. Deal with it alone!
About prizes, I want to discuss with you to see what you’d like as a prize (me and @ShanniiWrites talked and she suggested on a badge, but I’d like to see what else would you like)
