There are 4 types of fairies:
- Spring
- Summer
- Autumn
- Winter
Faires of the different season have keen kept apart for the last 50 years. There was a group of summer and winter fairies that rebelled and left their native lands. It took the “deserters” a long time to find their current home. even though many years had passed since the deserters left the king of winter and the queen of summer have been trying to hunt them down. In their hunt, the land of autumn is now on the blink of war with the summer kingdom and a war between summer and winter not far of either.
In an attempt to fix the distrusting nations the high king and high queen have set up a school to teach all new fairie adult the ways of their speciality. Maybe even foster peace between the nations through the school.

The high royals palace looked as fancy as ever. Mother had taken everyone from the deserter village to the balcony above the ceremony room. It was probably for our safety. 20 years ago when she sent me to the village the Winter and summer kingdoms still wanted the deserter village to not be a thing. After being there for so long I am glad mother is taking this chance to give the whole race a chance at peace. The ceremony room had lots of different objects relating to different specialities in a massive circle around the center of the room. The 4 fairylands each seemed to keep to themselves. Withthe summer and winter fairies giving each other the stink eye. Mother,the high queen Aurora addressed the room with the high king next to her,”Thank you all for coming to this year’s ceremony. Who out you would like to be the first to become a true adult.” mother looked at me and the other new adults from the deserter village as if to say wait. Though Daphne doubted she woukd stop anyone if theh wanred to go first.

He wasn’t going to reveal himself just yet to his fellow winter fairies. Darcy was the only one he trusted with his secret even then he lied about his age. He knew he couldn’t avoid this any longer. He doubted much had changed in the in winter kingdom.

I milled around nervously on the balcony of the high royal’s palace. I was absolutely terrified to become an adult, because I was terrified of attention. I spotted the princess and quietly watched her. She was beautiful.

”Hi Darcy. What do you think of this ceremony so far?” Daphne asked with a smile in her face. She was well aware of some of the villager’s dislike of her but she still like the village and she had managed to live a fairly peaceful life while there, she longed to fly again.

I practically jumped out of my skin when I heard a voice. “Oh! Princess Daphne! I’m so happy I’ll be able to fly. Aren’t you?” I smiled at her, my ice blue eyes holding excitement and apprehension.

”You don’t have to call me princess. Its not like I will be the next high queen any time soon. I miss flying. I wonder if we will remember how.” Daphne hated being called princess. She had a feeling deep down that she wouldn’t fill ber mothers role or any leader position any time soon.

“You go into the centre of the circle. You go up to the object you think is your specialist. It will glow if it’s yours. If not it will stop flowting and lay on the table below.” Daphne tried to explain the best she could. She had seen this done a few times before she was sent away.

“Happy I could help. Are you sure you want to be the first person to get their speciality?” Daphne asked. Looking over to Frost he seemed the closest to her or at least that’s what it seemed like to her.

“I’m having my doubts about being here. Do I really want them to see me after all these years.” Frost said to himself while looking over at the winter fairies. He didn’t have any clue as to what his specialty was unlike Darcy.
“What type of fairy do you think is going to go first?” Daphne said.

Loki watched the whole room and no one dared to move. So thought he would be the first. The winter fairies could go last for all he cared. After all they are keeping the missing summer fairies or was it the autumn fairies? He really didn’t care. He walked towards the summer queen’s crown only for it to glow dimly along with the speciality next to it a ball of light. He was shocked an unsure what to do. Both the high king and Queen gasped that hasn’t happened before. “What’s your name?” the deep yet threatening voice of the high king echoed the room. “Loki Prince.”

I watched as a male approached the queen, her crown glowing. “W-What’s happening?!” I nervously asked Daphne.

“Something that hasn’t happened before. He has 2 specialties I think. He looks like a summer fairy. Anything can happen now it would seem.” Daphne didn’t know what her mother and the high king would do. The high rulers looked shocked and unsure of what to do.

The high royals didn’t seem to know what happened either. They called over one of their guards and whispered something to them. He didn’t know what to do. “Mr Prince, would you mind standing back in line with your fellow summer fairies. We will get back to your turn in a little bit.” the high king said. It wasn’t what he wanted but he followed the Kings instructions.

“I think they are letting someone else go. They haven’t sent anyone back in line when I was last watching the ceremony.” Daphne was in shock.
What the hell just happened? Frost yelled unconsciously. He was now even more worried for his turn.
